Overpriced …

Not the best. Over priced. There are cheaper versions that work equally as well. You’re paying for her London boutique name. Doesn’t even come with a storage case. That said it does look high end.

Disappointed and confused

1

I had high hopes for this but I am so disappointed. I followed the instructions, especially cleaning and steaming steps and keeping the face moist but literally nothing came out of my face, my husbands and my teenagers face who is clogged and raised pores. I am confused, is this supposed to remove blackheads because it definitively doesn’t.

Used 3 times and already see a difference

5

Love this.  The first time I used it I made a couple of small mistakes with stage 3 but thankfully my skin recovered within 24 hours.   Make sure you follow the instructions.  I read a review about keeping skin moist during stage 3 and think this was good advice.  I used a rose water face mist.

Excellent

I ordered this with hesitation because the reviews appear to be love or hate. I have only used this device once so far and I was very pleasantly surprised. It came with some charge but I charged it fully before using it because I didn't want it to suddenly stop midway. It is really well packaged and the free 100ml balm wasn't something I expected so I was very happy. The device was easy to use but do ensure you read, understand and follow the instructions first! Key points to remember are upward motions on damp, taught skin and keep it moving slowly. Do not go over one place more than once. Do not apply it to one point and hold. The negative reviews I've read I think could be fixed with the above advice. I sprayed my face thoroughly with rose water after step 2 as I did not want to use the suction on dry skin - I was right as I did go over a drier patch and it pulled more which was briefly uncomfortable. Use: the plate on step 1 warmed up after 5 seconds so I waited before applying it to my skin (not wanting to close up pores again with cold). It warms and is pleasant to move around the face for the first two steps. Step 3 was interesting! It was much more powerful than I expected. It took a bit more effort to lift it off my skin than imagined so ensure your movements are planned before you go in as one would not want this suction on the lip or eye contour for instance. I went over my chin and nose and turned the suction on more than once which did not surprise me. I used setting 1 for everything except one stubborn blackhead on my chin crease where I used setting 2. It removed it with one swipe. I had already gone over that area on setting 1 so as expected my skin went a little red in that small area. The gunk!: It gathered a little 3x3mm pool pool of dirt/oil/blackheads in the side of the clear nozzle. Ever disgusting and curious I removed it with a cotton bud and put it on the back of my hand. Some would have been oil leftover from the cleansing balm. As I moved it with my fingertip I could feel the blackheads which was strange and satisfying! I cleaned the nozzle in warm soapy water and charged the device for my next use. I put a repairing cream on my face and appreciated the tighter/empty pores. I will use this twice a week as advised so that will be every four days for me. Who's it for? I feel I should mention that I am using a very good skincare regime and this device is only a part of that. I am using a very effective and famous Parisian exfoliating lotion which cleans pores and tightens the appearance of pores among other attributes. I want to give it the best chance to tighten my pores by keeping them clean. If one were to only use this device without any additional help to control sebum production and clean and tighten pores then one would likely be disappointed. In that instance one would only be emptying pores and waiting for them to be refilled with gunk again. So if you purchase this please give your skin the best chance possible to look incredible! I think I will be very happy with this purchase provided it keeps its power.

Effective

I have stuck with this tool and found it really works well if you follow the directions provide. To really get the benefits of this tool I have found steaming my face first to open to pores made such a difference.

Scarred my face!

1

The worst thing I have ever done to my skin and face. If there were -ve stars there wouldn’t be enough for this product. All I had were the odd blocked pore on cheek and nose- I’m now scarred awfully by this terrible Ill thought out product. I love SC skincare, I can’t say enough good things about the skincare products so thought this would be user friendly and give me the cherry on the top of perfect clarity skin again. It didn’t heat up, the suction and trying to keep it moving ,this was after steaming as recommended, was leaving awful red marks. They have never gone, that was 4 months ago.

Doesn’t work

2

To keep my face damp during step 1 and step 2, i use thermal water which i spray 2-3 times. When the face is damp you can feel the heat and it glides easily. Concerning step 3, it was a big disappointment. I used it on level 1. It didn’t unclog my pores. My face was slightly red for a few minutes. I wouldn’t recommend this product and definitely not worth the price.

Not worth the RRP

3

I was very excited to try this, decided to treat myself whilst on 15% off, i'm pleased i got it on offer, its not worth the RRP. The shape is not great and would of been better shaped to fit the hand, it feels a bit flimsy when on the vibrating part, it would be better if it could be used on wet skin or at least freshly steamed instead of just damp. It's claimed to glide over skin, it does not. The suction is good BUT did not remove the 1 blackhead i knew i had, i figured it may just need a higher suction and despite trying multiple times all it did was bruise my face (even when used as per instructions for no more than 2 seconds on one area) I'll keep trying it 3 times weekly to see if it makes a long term difference to the appearance of my pores. All in all i'm very underwhelmed.
