How you communicate your sexual identity is yours to do when you feel comfortable and safe to share with a partner.

When you open up the conversation allow them time, and the opportunity to ask questions, and for you to be able to ask them questions too. You may have been preparing for this conversation and so feel more ready than they are to receive it.

Remember whatever your orientation or identity they are all valid and important, and the right partner should respect that.
