From fruity and floral to musky and woody, choosing just one fragrance to suit your mood is never easy. By narrowing down perfume notes we can begin to create our go-to scents to match how we are feeling. Not only do notes create an irresistible aroma but they also encapsulate your personality from the first spritz. We've put together our top tips to help you choose the right fragrance to conquer the day, whichever mood you may be in.

If you’re feeling impulsive

If you’re looking for a fragrance that evokes a sense of impulse and spontaneity choose a scent filled with fruity and feminine notes. Michael Kors Wonderlust is a captivating fragrance that breaks the norm and promotes a lust for life. The deeply romantic scent opens with sparkling top notes of Italian Bergamot, followed by an uplifting boquet of Jasmine before settling on an opulent base of Cashmeran Wood. Capturing the essence of a clandestine escape, the impulsive fragrance will take you on an exotic journey into the unknown.

Top notes: Italian Bergamot, Sicillian Mandarin, Almond Milk, Pink PepperHeart notes: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute, Dianthus, Jasmine Sambac Absolute, HeliotropeBase notes: Cashmeran Wood, Benzoin Siam, Sandalwood Sri Lanka

If you’re feeling mysterious

If you’re feeling dark and mysterious make sure all eyes revolve around you. Choose a fragrance with a hint of spice to help seduce the senses and evoke temptation. Tom Ford’s Black Orchid Parfum is a timeless fragrance consisting of rich blends, dark accords with a tempting twist of florals. With notes of Bergamot, Black Orchid and Black Plum combined with Black Truffle and Patchouli, this fragrance creates a sensualaroma that lingers on skin all night long.

If you’re feeling adventurous

If you’re feeling full of adventure and ready to explore your horizons, opt for a fragrance with woody notes. Created for those who dare, Tommy HilfigerImpact captures a sense of thrill and excitement. Opening with Bitter Orange and intensified with a touch of red apple, the fragrance is then balanced by the calming heart of French Cypress. Base notes of Akigalawood deepen the aroma, bringing an earthy scent that evokes the thrill of adventure.
