Having fine hair means that my locks are usually flat and limp. I really struggle to find products that actually leave my hair looking healthy and shiny, whilst also full of body and volume. I decided to turn to Philip Kingsley. As a certified Trichologist (haircare genius to you and I), if he didn’t know how to add volume to hair, no one would. It was then that I came across the Body and Volume Trio.
Included in the Body and Shine Trio are the Body Building Shampoo, Body Building Conditioner and Elasticizer. I was really excited to try the products, especially as last Summer I tried the Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer for the first time and fell in love with it (well, my hair did!)
What Is My Hair Type?
What Does The Collection Aim To Do?
Designed to boost volume, add hydration and shine, all while increasing lift at the roots, the Body and Shine collection is formulated for fine-haired girls.
This shampoo gently cleanses your hair, without adding weight or heavy texture. Not only does it smooth individual fibres for a sleek finish, its gentle formulation ensures that your colour remains vibrant and your scalp free from irritation.
Sometimes, flat locks can be a result of damaged fibres, which simply don’t have the nutrients they need to have volume. Putting the moisture back into your hair will not only keep it healthy, but will help add shine and keep your hair bouncy. It also glides through tangles like a dream so you don’t snag your hair when you comb it!
This is undoubtedly Philip Kingsley’s cult product. Developed for Audrey Hepburn to help give back life to her hair, the Elasticizer is a serious intensive treatment. I love to leave on my hair for hours on end to help add essential hydration.
