Overrated
Been curious to try Boucleme for a while as see them a lot on curly girl blogs and socials, usually seem to get good reviews. Products aren't cheap, so didn't want to buy full size. Got this in the sale. I tried a full routine with this set; used the intensive treatment as my conditioner on wash day and then styled with the curl cream, gel and superhold styler. Intensive moisturising treatment is excellent. Completely melted my tangles and knots, make for easy brushing through and had great slip. That is about where the positives end. Have since used all the styling products individually with my usual products. Not great at all. They all smell.....funky. You know that 1990s healthy food shop smell? Fusty, funky herbs and a whacking dose of medicated cough sweet smell? That's boucleme! Found the products didn't give a lot of hold, offered almost no frizz prevention and make my hair look at bit greasy even though it looked fluffy (and not in a good way) wouldn't buy full sized or recommend.
