How To Apply MAC Lip Liner


When applied correctly, lip liner can leave lips looking plumper and fuller. Follow our steps below to get the perfect lined lips with MAC Lip Liner.

Step 1. Work lightly on a 45-degree angle applying short, light strokes. This way, once your lipstick or lip gloss wears off, you aren’t left with a harsh line around your lips.

Step 2. Use two similar shades, a lighter and a darker version. Use the darker one to define the centre of the lower lip line and the cupid bow and blend out with the lighter colour. This creates the illusion of fuller lips. 

Step 3. Apply your lip gloss or lipstick over the top and go over the edges with your lip liner for the final time. This will keep lips looking neat and defined.

Step 4. Blot your lips with a tissue to remove any excess product. You’ll be left with a more professional, longer-lasting finish.
