Renowned for its blemish-busting and pore-purging abilities, the award-winning Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is a fast-acting spot solution. The formula works to dry out surface blemishes overnight and is a suitable saviour for all skin types.
The solution combines salicylic acid, sulfur and zinc oxide to visibly unclog pores, absorb excess oil and reduce the appearance of redness. Suitable for use on the face, neck, chest and back, the on-the-spot solution’s pink sediment (not to be shaken) is best applied with a cotton bud.

- When to Use: After cleansing and toning.
- Application: Dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Dab directly on the surface blemish, do not rub in. Do not dip the same cotton swab into the bottle again. Use the other side of the cotton swab to avoid contaminating the product with bacteria. Let dry and rinse off in the morning.
- Please Note: Do not use on broken skin. No matter how tempted you are, do not shake the bottle. If you do - simply set the bottle on an even, flat surface. Leave it undisturbed for a few hours until your Drying Lotion is settled. You can use the Drying Lotion to target surface blemishes on the back, chest, and neck too.
- Salicylic Acid: A BHA that helps to clear blocked pores, visibly refine texture and reduce the appearance of redness
- Sulfur: A mineral that absorbs excess oils and visibly unclogs pores
- Zinc Oxide: A mineral that helps to absorb excess oil
Isopropyl Alcohol, Aqua (Water, Eau), Calamine, Camphor, Sulfur, Zinc Oxide, Talc, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

Calms down spots
I’m a big fan of this drying lotion - i think it’s one of the only things that really helps to calm down my spots. Always repurchase and handy to have when needed!

Apply this at night and the spot is gone by morning. Dries it up instantly, not irritating to the surrounding skin

The best for spots
Whenever I feel a spot forming I put some of this on overnight and in the morning the spot has never grown, and sometimes shrunken and become paler and faded. Sometimes for small spots they go away completely. It is pricey but lasts forever and works so well.

Bye bye spot
This is the best thing for drying out spots. Used this for years although I don’t regularly get spots now I’m older I do get the odd one or two thanks to hormones. This drying lotion is a miracle within two or so days the spot magically is removed. So happy to see this on lf as it’s pretty difficult to find now. Received sealed & my delivery was kindly upgraded by lf. Thank you so much

Getting there with a little trial and error
I've been using this on my breakouts over the past couple of weeks, and I'm still kind of on the fence. I find the application fiddly (don't make the same mistake as me and shake the bottle!) but I love the smell and the formulation. I'm finding that if I apply over moisturiser, it's wiped off/vanished by morning, so I *think* I'm getting better results just applying to clean, dry skin. It definitely dries whiteheads up quicker but I was hoping it would help to calm down redness, and I haven't noticed anything like that so far.
