Lightweight yet sumptuous, the hand cream glides effortlessly across your skin, absorbing fast to avoid the look of any heavy, sticky build-up being left behind. The potent formula works to shield your skin from the damaging effects of harsh external aggressors, which is emphasised by replenishing Sucralfate.
A boost of Copper and Zinc Sulfates assist with encouraging the look of a recovered, restored base, lessening the look of irritated skin. An infusion of Avène Thermal Spring Water allows the formula to be deeply-moisturising, locking in hydration for long-lasting, touchable softness. The hand cream is ideal for popping into your bag for top-ups on the go, allowing you to achieve silky-soft skin wherever you may be.
Cicalfate Restorative HANDS must be applied generously to the hands at least twice a day, focusing on the most dry and delicate areas. Some complementary advice to optimise its efficacy:
• When washing hands, it is essential to use the gentlest cleansing products possible.
• Cicalfate HANDS is water-resistant: it protects hands during washing to avoid additional aggressions (the protective film can still be felt after washing and drying hands). It is still advised to reapply Cicalfate HANDS after washing hands, to restore comfort and new protection to the skin.

Terrible product. Smells bad
The smell is terrible as if it was off. After you applied it on your hand, if left your hands feel rough the texture of the cream is gluey. Don’t buy. Trying to get a refund now, but is so difficult. No nice product.

I find it very drying
The cream is a nice texture. Thick but soaks in quickly. However, I find where I have eczema, it makes it worse and dries it out more! It’s ok as a hand cream but it is nothing special

Perfect for dry / cracked hands
In have incredibly dry skin and the British winter always does a number on my hands and face. Moisturizers are always too thin / thick / sticky / watery etc. The Avene moisturizers are very thick but are absorbed by my hands in a matter of seconds. I love putting on a 10P size amount on my hands before bed and letting it do its work whilst I sleep. Wake up in the morning with soft, less irritated hands.
