A boost of Copper and Zinc Sulfates assist with encouraging the look of a recovered, restored base, lessening the look of irritated skin. An infusion of Avène Thermal Spring Water allows the formula to be deeply-moisturising, locking in hydration for long-lasting, touchable softness. The hand cream is ideal for popping into your bag for top-ups on the go, allowing you to achieve silky-soft skin wherever you may be.
Cicalfate Restorative HANDS must be applied generously to the hands at least twice a day, focusing on the most dry and delicate areas. Some complementary advice to optimise its efficacy:
• When washing hands, it is essential to use the gentlest cleansing products possible.
• Cicalfate HANDS is water-resistant: it protects hands during washing to avoid additional aggressions (the protective film can still be felt after washing and drying hands). It is still advised to reapply Cicalfate HANDS after washing hands, to restore comfort and new protection to the skin.

Delivers what it promises
This is not a regular hand cream, and I do not use it when my hands are ok (not chapped/cracked). It does leave a residue and feels a bit “dry”, not the skin but the actual lotion. My bleeding and cracked hands love it, however, and it really helps with the healing and does not sting when applying. I use it every time a new skin cut shows up and in a couple days it’s healed, when before it would take close to a week with more tiny cuts showing up around the damaged area.

Great if you don't like greasy hands
So far I'm happy with it, good value for the price. It is quite liquid so careful when you pour, you may get more product than you need. If you're used to Avene products, you will be used to the smell and texture. It gets quickly absorbed and hands look hydrated without looking shiny after applying it. Recommended for someone who doesn't want a greasy cream, otherwise you may find it a bit weird

I only got to use if a few times but for the price I am happy with the results. The texture seems weird at first but it turns out to be pleasant and gets absorbed in the skin quickly. My palms are very dry and they feel great even a few hours after application. The skin is not greasy at all after using it. Careful when you pour from the tube, it is a fairly liquid product and you may end up with more than you need.
