Restore gloss and shine to blonde hair with Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra Violet Shampoo, a deeply nourishing treatment that boosts luminosity.
The purple shampoo works to deliver lasting protection against brassy and yellow tones, while defending against pollution and other external aggressors to maintain a natural-looking shine. Hyaluronic acid and edelweiss flower work in harmony to melt away dirt and excess oil and replenish hydration, leading to a silky-soft and vibrant head of hair.
- Application: Wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo touch by touch onto 5 key zones of the hair. Add water and emulsify. Leave it on between 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: We recommend you alternate with Bain Lumière on a weekly or as a second shampoo for a deeper & hydrating cleanse.

Bye bye brassiness
I’m a guy and I’m fussy about my hair. I’d had my hair lightened and have been using this to keep the colour looking fresh and crisp. This shampoo is great. I lather it into damp hair and leave it in for ten minutes or so. It isn’t the kind of purple shampoo that stains everything and it smells great. Would recommend using a couple of times a week. Great product

Violet shampoo review
I loved this product, it certainly sorts out my brassy-ness in my blonde. I use it once a week/fortnight. A little goes a long way so will last you. However it does dry your hair out slightly. It’s not as bad as some violet shampoos however I definitely feel that I need to use more conditioner after it.

White not dull!
I have been using this shampoo once a week for the past 4 weeks and it's my new favourite. I have a full head of highlights on fine, mid-length hair. I have tried other purple shampoos in the past which left my hair looking dark purple / dull grey. This has given me lovely white-blonde highlights without the dulling effect. It took two washes to achieve the desired effect the first time round. Make sure you have a decent conditioner or blow-dry cream as, like with many other purple shampoos, it may leave your hair feeling very dry! I use the cicaflash conditioner and ciment thermique so it's not been a problem for me.

Best purple shampoo
Really liked this purple shampoo- my hair is dyed blonde and I was looking for something that would give it a boost in between salon visits- it did exactly that! I purchased this one over many others on the market as Kerastase has always worked wonders on my damaged hair and this product really lived up to the brands reputation. This shampoo is best to use once a week as at first I used it back to back for a few days and it started to tint my blonde hair slightly purple but I have still given it 5* as you’re not supposed to use it every hair wash as they can tint your hair and they can be drying on your colour treated hair- if used once a week this won’t happen. This shampoo really gives my blonde hair a boost of vibrancy and takes lots of the unwanted orange tones out at the ends of my hair. I wish they’d make a sulphate free version of this!

Very disappointing
I have been very disappointed with this shampoo as it has left my hair feeling straw like possibly as it contains silicon which I am unable to use on my hair. My hair is very fine which is maybe which I react badly to shampoos containing silicon.
