Restore gloss and shine to blonde hair with Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra Violet Shampoo, a deeply nourishing treatment that boosts luminosity.
The purple shampoo works to deliver lasting protection against brassy and yellow tones, while defending against pollution and other external aggressors to maintain a natural-looking shine. Hyaluronic acid and edelweiss flower work in harmony to melt away dirt and excess oil and replenish hydration, leading to a silky-soft and vibrant head of hair.
- Application: Wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo touch by touch onto 5 key zones of the hair. Add water and emulsify. Leave it on between 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: We recommend you alternate with Bain Lumière on a weekly or as a second shampoo for a deeper & hydrating cleanse.

Makes blonde "pop"
It really does make my blonde pop out and look bright but is a bit drying so a decent conditioner after is a must. Perhaps best used once a week, which is a bit surprising for a Kerastase product which are normally pretty perfect.

Superb
First time using this product I didn’t know that it would enhance my colour like it did. Kerastase shampoo and conditioner made my hair soft and shiny. I will definitely be using these products again as they are great value for money.

Really lovely shampoo
This shampoo is a really lovely blonde shampoo. As a blonde i have tried different kinds of purple shampoo and I always find they dry my hair out or send my hair dull and over toned. I found this didn’t dry my hair out and also gave it a really lovely shine. I probably wouldn’t use it every day as it is quite strong but as a weekly refresh it is beautiful.

Gorgeous shampoo .
I was given this to try a couple of weeks ago. I use kerestase products already and I love everything I have tried. I have been wanting to try this range for blonde hair ( bleached or natural) . So when I had the chance I leapt at it. I have long bleached blonde hair with grey at the roots. It tends to go brassy, so I was very interested in this purple shampoo . Firstly it smells gorgeous and the smell lingers after my hair has dried. It doesn't dry the hair out like some shampoos do. It almost makes your hair feel like it does not need conditioner. It gave my hair a lovely shine and banished the brassy hue that my hair had. I'm a convert I will continue to use this shampoo and buy more, when it is on sale .

Great shampoo
Lathered up really well and immediately my hair felt softer, cleaned my hair well and really improved my blond colour which is not natural and definitely restored shine. It was a real pleasure to use.

Hair looks in better condition after using this
Was a bit strange seeing purple shampoo but went with it. Did take a bit to lather up and the smell was not as pleasing as I would have hoped. Used with conditioner my hair feels soft and looks in good condition. Don’t think I would use this shampoo everyday but once a week to improve colour and condition.

Leaves hair soft
The conditioner works well at making hair soft but I’m not sure how much it does at keeping hair bright and blonde! I prefer the shampoo versions of purple products (with all brands tbf) I prefer to use a strengthening conditioner along with a purple shampoo! I do like the smell and my hair was very soft and shiny!

A Miracle Product
This is the best shampoo I have tried by a long way! As soon as I applied the product to my hair I noticed a big difference, my hair felt like it had turned to silk. I didn't need to use much, so although its more expensive than others, it will last a long time. It was quick and easy to use, it lathered up nicely and rinsed out easy enough. Its colour is dark purple, so i was worried it might dye my blonde hair purple, but instead, it brightened my blonde hair. After using this, my hair was so soft and shiny. I could have even got away without using conditioner. It is such a great product.

Compliments All Round!
Used the conditioner after the shampoo and was really impressed with the condition of my dry frizzy hair. I expected a good colour from the brand but was not expecting to have such shiny, soft and well conditioned hair too. Both my husband and son complimented me without prompting on my hair( something they never do even when coming from the salon!) This will be my go to conditioner from now on.

Premium shampoo
I really liked the packaging for this shampoo. It felt luxurious and premium. The product itself was very purple, and I had to be very careful not to redecorate my bathroom whilst washing my hair! Unfortunately I did get some on my cream bathmat, but I managed to sponge it off whilst still wet. The shampoo smelled nice, but it didn't lather that much, so I used more than I was expecting. I followed with the conditioner, which I felt I needed, otherwise my hair would have been very dry. I'm sure it did reduce brassiness in my blonde (highlighted) hair. And it was left soft and shiny, with nice, natural blonde tones.
