Restore gloss and shine to blonde hair with Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra Violet Shampoo, a deeply nourishing treatment that boosts luminosity.
The purple shampoo works to deliver lasting protection against brassy and yellow tones, while defending against pollution and other external aggressors to maintain a natural-looking shine. Hyaluronic acid and edelweiss flower work in harmony to melt away dirt and excess oil and replenish hydration, leading to a silky-soft and vibrant head of hair.
- Application: Wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo touch by touch onto 5 key zones of the hair. Add water and emulsify. Leave it on between 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: We recommend you alternate with Bain Lumière on a weekly or as a second shampoo for a deeper & hydrating cleanse.

Essential for blonde hair
I have been using this shampoo for about a week now and you could clearly see the difference in my hair. My colour is very light blonde with no bleach. Unfortunately it was quite difficult to maintain the nice clear blonde colour that I had after leaving the salon in between treatments. Using this product, the colour looks vivid,no yellow tones. In addition it is very gentle with my hair and sculpt. Highly recommended.

Kerastase ultra violet shampoo
I love love love this shampoo it restored so much life to my blond hair. My hair was so bright and mega shiny after a few uses. Amazing stuff. It lathers up really well and my hair felt so silky after use and instantly gave me the feel of a salon treatment to restore vitality. I would highly recommend this product to any blond hair and completely tones it to a bright vibrancy.

Fantastic shampoo with a wonderful scent
Absolutely fantastic shampoo it smells lovely and it lasts all day and it has given my dry dull tired hair a new lease of life. After only one wash my blonde highlights were looking so much healthier with a wonderful shine and no brassy tones. My hair was full of bounce and felt silky soft.

Purple shampoo that doesn't dry out your hair!
I've always been wary of purple shampoo as they ones I've tried have really dried out my hair but this isn't the case at all with this shampoo! It knocked out any obvious brassy tones from my hair but left it glossy and moisturised. Would recommend to anyone with bleached blonde hair that is getting a bit brassy and on the dry side.

Fragrant purple
The first benefit was the dispenser which made it easy to use the amount you need and stop the purpleness spattering everywhere. Other purple shampoos have a poor dispensing container so I was pleased with this. The fragrance stood out when washing my hair which made it a much more pleasurable experience. It rinsed out quickly and left my hair fairly smooth. When dry I noticed a change to my recently colour boosted hair. The yellow tones were diminished and the silver and gold tones increased. The texture of my hair did not improve when dry and the fragrance lasted a couple of hours at least. Looking at the photo I can see improvements in the tones and smoothness of my hair.

Surprisingly good
I didn't expect this to be as purple as it was and I was worried it wouldn't clean my hair very well as it isn't a traditional foamy texture. I needn't have worried though, it cleaned my hair beautifully and I did notice my blonde highlights looking subtly brighter.

Gleaming blonde
This shampoo when used with the Blond Absolu Cicaflash Conditioner left my hair in great condition. My dyed blonde hair had a great sheen and no sign of any brassiness. The colour of the shampoo is very vivid and you do need more than most Kerastase products for a lather but overall wonderful results.

Does its job
A vividly purple shampoo that I use in place of my other Kerastase shampoo once a week. It leaves hair super clean and noticeably brighter. Doesn’t smell as nice as other Kerastase shampoos - it feels more like a necessary clinical product. My natural colour is brunette but I’m increasingly lightening it to disguise grey - this product keeps my desired ash blonde highlights from becoming brassy. I would advise care if you have a bright white bathroom - turned my nails slightly purple!

Purple shampoo, great effect
I’ve never used a purple shampoo before and was always a bit skeptical that how much difference can a shampoo make to the colour of coloured hair. Apparently a lot!!! It really reduced the brassiness of my hair colour and brightened the colour so well. I feel this will really prolong and improve the condition and colour of my hair between hairdresser visits! When used with the conditioner I’ve felt such an improvement in the condition and colour of my hair. Love this!

Best purple shampoo I’ve tried
I’ve used this shampoo once a week for 3 weeks alongside my other kerastase products & am impressed. It neutralises the brassy tones in my tinted & highlighted blonde hair without drying it out which other purple shampoos I’ve tried have. I also liked the fragrance - again, rare for purple shampoo!
