Discover the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow, a hybrid formula that accentuates the eyes with flexible, buildable colour. Performing as an eye primer and a cream eyeshadow, the waterproof formula delivers up to 15 hours of intense pigment.
The cream offers a quick and effortless eye look that resists creasing throughout the day, its skin-like texture layering seamlessly under other products. Rich and velvety smooth, the colour-true formula helps to improve the quality of wear of other eyeshadows for up to 12 hours, while helping to nourish the skin. The semi-solid Paint Pot is presented in a glass jar with a wide opening for easy application with a brush.

For best results, apply Paint Pot sparingly to the eyelids and blend out using a brush. To build colour intensity, apply subsequent coats, allowing time for each coat to set for 30 seconds.

Lovely colour (groundwork) & Pay off
I use this on its own or as a base for powder eye shadows - it's lovely either way! The colour and slight sheen work well for me and it's a smooth base for darker / smokier looks also.

Nice, but not revolutionary
It's a nice base, but I do still get some creasing when I use this, and my oily eyelids still manage to come through. It's quite expensive for what it is but I think it will last a long time as I only use a thin layer. It covers eyelids nicely so I don't have to worry about veins or discolouration peeking through.

Nice subtle base
This is a nice subtle base. At the moment I’m just using it alone without any other eyeshadows to brighten up my eyes. It applies nicely, but does crease a little. I think it would not crease if you used a little powder eyeshadow on top to set it.

A little more iridescent than I expected but still a lovely base for eyeshadow. Lasts all day. If you want t something that’s completely matte, go for soft ochre (if you’re white and pale like me!)

Lovely base
For some reason I was expecting this to be kind of matte and was worried the shimmer would look too glittery. However it went on so smoothly and is a nice alternative to concealer/ primer. Not sure how it will look with matte or dark/ brown eyeshadow looks however for everyday light colours and pink shadows it worked really well. It also didn’t look shimmery once on my eyelids. Worth mentioning I am really sensitive around my eyes and have reacted badly to some other primers like NYX. This however didn’t give my sensitive eyes any problems.
