The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
- Glycolic Acid: A natural exfoliant found in unripe grapes and sugar beets
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to even the skin tone
- Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture

Clean and clear skin!
Really nice product that left my skin feeling clean and clear, I could feel the product working as I was using it. Cleansing but drying
I found my initial first few days using this product to be a large success. My skin felt much cleaner and the appearance of my skin was bright and I saw a large reduction in blemishes however within a week my skin was exceptionally dry, sensitive and sore. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

I like it
I like this cleanser and have noticed that my skin is clearer and brighter since using it. Not quite 5 stars as I found it very drying so I have to use a good quality moisturiser immediately after. Despite that, I would buy again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Gentle facial wash
Great facial cleanser that after using it in my daily care for 2 weeks I saw an improvement in my skin, specially when I'm having a breakout. I also noticed that spots that were highly visible before due to discoloration began to decrease. A nice wash
A good facial wash which I can see the clear benefits of in my skin after just over a week of consistent use. The only thing I don't like is the smell - it's fragrance free but I find it has a strange smell to it. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Gutted
I was so excited about using this product but after three times using it my skin had a reaction to it. My face ended up being red, sore and bumpy.
