The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
- Glycolic Acid: A natural exfoliant found in unripe grapes and sugar beets
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to even the skin tone
- Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture

Easy to use and effective results
Great facial wash that is easy to use and has effective results. I have been using it once daily as it does contain salicylic acid and AHA which makes my skin a little sensitive if I use it twice a day. Definitely helps with clearing congestion and ensuring skin stays clearer for longer. Skin looked brighter too. No unpleasant scent. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Nice active ingredients but too harsh for my skin

Great for blemish prone skin
Amazing cleanser for blemish prone skin. I've been using it once every other day and it improved my skin dramatically. I struggle with acne and my skin is very oily in some areas and dry in others and this cleanser worked great for my skin type, it didn't dry it out but also cleaned effectively. My skin feels smoother and clearer and I have less breakouts. The texture is gel like and feels nice on the skin, one pump is enough for the whole face. Good texture but not clearer skin
The texture is lovely, but I do not notice any changes in my skin. It certainly cleans the skin, but if you have have bad skin, then it won’t make a massive difference. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Amazing
