The Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is a best-selling pre-shampoo treatment powered by scientifically-proven Olaplex Bond Building Technology™. Enriched with a host of revolutionary actives, the high-performance formula helps to hydrate and visibly smooth hair, promoting a stronger-looking and more resilient appearance.
With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. Simply comb the radiance-boosting Olaplex treatment through damp hair, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes, and then follow with your usual wash routine. The hair appears visibly nourished, exudes a glossy sheen, and feels luxuriously smooth.
- Application: Apply generously to damp hair from scalp to ends until hair is thoroughly saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes (or longer if desired). Rinse from hair. Cleanse with OLAPLEX Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

How to use Olaplex 3
Designed to be used once weekly, distribute the pre-shampoo treatment onto damp hair before washing and comb through for even root-to-tip saturation. Leave it on for a minimum of ten minutes and a maximum of 90, depending on how damaged your hair is. Rinse, then follow with Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Dry and style as usual with your favourite Olaplex products.
Can you leave Olaplex 3 on overnight?
It is not advised to leave Olaplex No.3 in the hair overnight, as the formula is intended to be rinsed out and followed by a shampoo cleanse. The brand suggests that just ten minutes is long enough to notice visible results.

I started to use this product during lockdown to try and maintain healthy hair when we all thought we'd never see our hairdressers again. Initially I was pleased, but for 2 months now I've been losing hair. After reading other reviews and looking online I now know why. I'm beyond devastated. My scalp actually feels burnt. Only recently discovered this brand and its by far the best! I don’t write reviews for many products but Olaplex is a delight to use. In the last week I have noticed a real difference- already! My hair was in a sorry state. Thinning, snapping, high porosity and weak. It’s stronge, smoother and has a lovely healthy shine. An investment worth the money and your £s go a long way as you don’t need a lot of product! Look Fantastic are a super company, the despatch time is very quick. Sadly, I am one of those who have used this and suffered hair loss. I applied it as per instructions, weekly, over 8 weeks and became quite alarmed if not scared at how much hair was coming out. I stopped using it 4 weeks ago and I'm back to low hair loss. No idea why it works for some not others. It's a shame for me.

Worst thing I have ever done to my hair!!
Literally the worst thing I have ever used on my hair, and I have bleached it with highlights for years. I used it according to instructions in June this year and my hair hasn't been the same since. It caused a LOAD of hair loss and my hair has been so thin and lifeless and fragile ever since. Utterly devastated and it has crushed my self esteem. Now beginning to learn to see past my hair and value in myself despite how it is now. I just miss my lovely thick long hair before I used this product Have had to cut it short in the hope it will encourage it to grow back. Beware of this product is all I can say. If I could turn back the clock I would, and I wish I had actually read more reviews before using it now as I am not the only one out there having had such a horrific experience with it.

Wish I’d found this sooner!
I wish I’d found this product sooner, after using it once I’m already looking at buying the other products in the range. I’ve used boxed dye (on and off) over the years on my hair, then stripped it off all colour and dyed it again. About 6 months ago I decided to leave my hair alone and just try to get it some what healthy. However no matter what I did or what products I put in it, I couldn’t control how frizzy it got and how dry it looked. I have quite think, wavy shoulder length hair which I rarely use heat on, just let it air dry, and it looks fine, then within a few hours of being at work or something my hair becomes a frizzy knotted mess. Anyway, I used this product, left it on for about half an hour then washed my hair as normal. And MY GOODNESS!! I feel like I’ve got new hair, no exaggeration, it’s so soft and tame not finally not frizzy! I can’t stop running my fingers through my hair cause of how soft and knot-free it is. It’s a bit pricey for a small bottle, but it’s soooo worth it! I’ll be buying the bigger bottle next time, and might even treat myself to the shampoo & conditioner.
