The Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is a best-selling pre-shampoo treatment powered by scientifically-proven Olaplex Bond Building Technology™. Enriched with a host of revolutionary actives, the high-performance formula helps to hydrate and visibly smooth hair, promoting a stronger-looking and more resilient appearance.
With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. Simply comb the radiance-boosting Olaplex treatment through damp hair, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes, and then follow with your usual wash routine. The hair appears visibly nourished, exudes a glossy sheen, and feels luxuriously smooth.
- Application: Apply generously to damp hair from scalp to ends until hair is thoroughly saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes (or longer if desired). Rinse from hair. Cleanse with OLAPLEX Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

How to use Olaplex 3
Designed to be used once weekly, distribute the pre-shampoo treatment onto damp hair before washing and comb through for even root-to-tip saturation. Leave it on for a minimum of ten minutes and a maximum of 90, depending on how damaged your hair is. Rinse, then follow with Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Dry and style as usual with your favourite Olaplex products.
Can you leave Olaplex 3 on overnight?
It is not advised to leave Olaplex No.3 in the hair overnight, as the formula is intended to be rinsed out and followed by a shampoo cleanse. The brand suggests that just ten minutes is long enough to notice visible results.

WARNING BEFORE 1ST TIME USE!
First time I've used Olaplex at home, read great reviews and wanted to get my hair in great condition for my wedding. I bought 3, 4 and 5 and after using for 3 weeks my scalp is so dry, flaky and itchy and I've lost half of my hair!! Its falling out at the root and completely thinned out! I'm now being referred to a dermatologist as they think I have sebhorric dermatitis and had to get a prescription from the docs to try and rectify this. It's only once this happened that I googled it and read other peoples similar stories so I wanted to warn others. I've never had allergies or any other reaction to anything. I think this product needs to come with a warning!!

I’ve just finished my first bottle and I’m quite amazed at the transformation. After years of bleaching my curls were frizzy and undefined, now there’s barely any frizz, my ringlets are back and my hair feels so soft and healthy. I was using this 2-3 times a week to reverse damage and I’m about to get a second bottle. To use I brush my hair dry before rinsing and applying the serum to ensure an even spread. I keep it on for at least an hour before carrying on my wash routine. Works best when hair has been towel dried well. I have long thick curls and the bottle lasted me 4 washes. It’s expensive but seriously worth the money.

This product isn't the answer to everything
My hair is fine to medium, with no chemical treatment, just some heat damage at the ends. I was pleased to see this product didn't weigh down my hair, however it did not make a huge difference either. That probably means my damage isn't related to broken bonds, I think I need a different type of product. I wanted to share this experience just to say that Olaplex n.3 isn't the answer to everything, it may be fantastic for chemically treated hair, but I would not recommend to people with virgin hair.

This has done absolute wonders for my hair. No more spilt ends, flyaways and just generally feels stronger. Visibly looks like I’ve stepped into the salon after each use!
