The Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is a best-selling pre-shampoo treatment powered by scientifically-proven Olaplex Bond Building Technology™. Enriched with a host of revolutionary actives, the high-performance formula helps to hydrate and visibly smooth hair, promoting a stronger-looking and more resilient appearance.
With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. Simply comb the radiance-boosting Olaplex treatment through damp hair, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes, and then follow with your usual wash routine. The hair appears visibly nourished, exudes a glossy sheen, and feels luxuriously smooth.
- Application: Apply generously to damp hair from scalp to ends until hair is thoroughly saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes (or longer if desired). Rinse from hair. Cleanse with OLAPLEX Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

How to use Olaplex 3
Designed to be used once weekly, distribute the pre-shampoo treatment onto damp hair before washing and comb through for even root-to-tip saturation. Leave it on for a minimum of ten minutes and a maximum of 90, depending on how damaged your hair is. Rinse, then follow with Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Dry and style as usual with your favourite Olaplex products.
Can you leave Olaplex 3 on overnight?
It is not advised to leave Olaplex No.3 in the hair overnight, as the formula is intended to be rinsed out and followed by a shampoo cleanse. The brand suggests that just ten minutes is long enough to notice visible results.

I don't normally write reviews, but this is so good everyone should know. I've had blond highlights for a number of years and I was getting seriously concerned about the condition of my hair, it was incredibly dry and frizzy. I've used this once and after one treatment, the hair was as soft and smooth as before the highlights. Amazing. I now washed my hair without it and it is still very smooth and healthy. Miracle worker
I was a bit in two minds after reading some of the negative comments, but my hair needed rescuing, so gave it a shot. I have sensitive skin, so after reading the comments about scalp sensitivity and dry hair from leaving the product on a long time, I decided to play it safe and leave it on for the 10 minute minimum it recommends (plus if you get an in salon treatment that's about how long they leave them on). As your hair needs to be damp first before applying I didn't need a huge amount - about the same as for a mask, so it should last me a couple of months using it once a week. My hair is noticeably softer (not sure about shine as my hair is mousey coloured) and doesn't feel as dry, and has stayed like that after washing normally the next time. As it's not as dry, it's not as frizzy which is a big bonus, as then don't need to use my straighteners as much. There is also less fall out when brushing and washing my hair, which is brilliant. It hasn't gone from dry/brittle to lustrous after the first use, but it is significantly better. I have used it twice, and will continue to do so as a weekly treatment, as I think my hair was that badly damaged from the many colours and highlights it's been, it will take a while to correct everything - but it's going in the right direction :-)

Having had my hair bleached twice in a short space of time, it has become damaged on the ends. Tried so many serums, shampoos and conditioners that I was really only left with this option. Well I wish I had of used it sooner. I have only used this once so far and only plan to use once a week. It left my hair nice and soft but not overly different and I didn’t expect anything else from first use. However, when I washed it normally a few days later, my goodness it was super soft, shiny and no dry ends! I definitely think once a week will be enough as it feels like it continues to work. I left it on for an hour under a warm towel. Small bottle for the price but if you use the right amount you could probably get a couple of months most out of it. Don’t delay! Buy it
