The Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Salicylic Cleanser sweeps away daily build-up, while visibly refining skin for a polished canvas.
Formulated with a refined triple-acid blend of salicylic, mandelic and gluconolactone, the formula gently exfoliates to help reduce the appearance of texture and uneven tone. Unlike gritty scrubs, the gel-foam texture feels refreshing rather than stripping and is laced with niacinamide, panthenol and glycerin to hydrate and lock in moisture. Gentle enough for daily use and suitable for sensitive types, the cleanser leaves your complexion soft and glowing.
- Application: Lather cleanser with a small amount of water and use all over as a face wash and/or body wash to visibly improve skin texture and tone. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: For best results, follow with Cetaphil Salicylic Acid Moisturising Lotion.

Great Cleanser
I’m always cautious of products with exfoliating properties as they can cause irritation if too strong, but this cleanser is gentle and effective. No irritation caused at all! You only need half a pump for your face too which means it will last ages! I received a sample of this product via #hometesterclub

Good product and gentle but…
I had high hopes for the Cetaphil Exfoliating Cleanser, but overall it didn’t impress me. I didn’t really notice much improvement in my skin’s texture or clarity, and the scent was a bit strange — not exactly pleasant. That said, I did like how gentle it felt on my skin, especially on my legs, which looked smoother and healthier after using it. If you’re looking for something mild and non-irritating, it’s decent — just don’t expect dramatic results.

Great
This product was great. I think my experience was okay with this cleanser. My main issue was my skin creating hormonal spots. After 2 weeks I feel like I could give a better review. I like the bottle, the way the product fits easily into my current line of product and the way it made my none acne parts feel. My review may change after using it for longer. I would recommend people try it and see if it suits their skin. Great.

Exfoliates and cleanses well
It gently exfoliates well from the first wash as stated on the bottle. It cleansed the face and body quite well, and even left the skin feeling soft. It was great to use in this warm weather as it kept skin feeling soft and refreshed. The only downside is that it made my skin quite dry. Overall, it is a good product.

Gentle
The bottle comes in a pump dispenser with a twist top which I appreciate with a toddler running around. The product itself if a lovely thick texture which has no smell and lathers really well. I have found that it can dry my skin out if I don’t moisturise straight after using but not as drying as other cleansers I’ve used in the past.

I absolutely love the Cetaphil cleanser! It’s so gentle on my skin, doesn’t leave it feeling tight, and I’ve noticed I have far fewer spots than before.

So gentle!
For the amount of acids it has in this I thought it would definitely have a negative reaction with my skin but it’s been quite the opposite! My skin felt so smooth after using it on my face and body I definitely have less visible bumps on my face now. My legs feel extra smooth after shaving but I do think my KP hasn’t really changed but I don’t think that can be solved in two weeks. Overall, it’s an amazing product I really recommend.

Great product
Fantastic product, made my skin instantly soft, evened out my skin tone and melts in to the skin with not much effort. Good sized bottle, pump dispenser is great. My first time trying the brand and can safely say I will be trying more. I used this all over my body and face and had no issues. It’s been fine with my sensitive skin and doesn’t feel oily or heavy on the skin. Wonderful product #hometesterclub

Gentle exfoliation with good results
I've been using this every other day when showering as a body wash as I have KP on my arms, and suffer with ingrown hairs on my legs. For context, I also use a body scrub and glycolic acid once per week for these. I haven't used it as a face wash but it is very gentle so could be an option if you have sensitive skin but suffer from acne. My arms feel a bit smoother but are noticeably less bumpy and red. I still have ingrown hairs but they look less irritated and inflamed. I'm going to continue using this as part of my routine in hopes that with consistent long-term use both my KP and ingrown hairs will improve. #HomeTesterClub
