The straighteners are heated at 185°C for optimum styling, any higher would damage the hair while any lower would compromise the styling effects. Single zone technology ensures that the heat is evenly distributed across both ceramic plates to help effortlessly style your hair, promoting a sleek, professional-looking finish.
The floating plates offer an ultra-smooth appearance, while the round barrel helps for snag-free styling, creating bouncy curls, soft waves or poker straight ends with ease. Offering quick and easy hairstyling within 30 seconds, the tool is an essential, cult-classic in everyone's hair kit, perfect for everyday looks.
Ensure hair is dry and combed through. Divide the hair into sections ready for styling. Turn the appliance on. Place a section of hair between the straightening plates, close to the roots. Hold the hair firmly between the straightening plates and slide down the length of the hair, from root to tip. Repeat. Allow the hair to cool before combing through. After use, turn off and unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.

Amazing
GHD straighteners have always been my go-to essential beauty tool - They can turn any bad hair day around! Whether it's wavy hair styles or straight, they are so versatile to create a range of looks. When i use the GHD heat protect spray, it helps to not break my hair and keep it looking soft and healthy looking. I love that they turn themselves off too so i don't have to worry about leaving them on!

Can't beat GHD's
I have always had ghd straighteners and honestly they dont ever fail to impress! Leave my hair silky and smooth without frying my hair. The new plates make it so easy to curl your hair, they glide through. 1000000% recommend

finally took the plunge and upgraded
I've had the same pair of original GHD's since I was a teen, and they've never let me down and still going strong probably 15+ years. However when I borrowed my friends newer models on weekends away I did notice the difference in the power of the curls they created vs my own. Glad I've upgraded as they are exactly the same but better. Really like how they don't get too hot to hold in your hands. Definitely will be using these over my airwrap when I want a finish that holds.

The best
Now I have tried GHD I will never go back to any other straightener! They are so easy to use to create soft waves in my hair and using the curly ever after spray with these creates a really long hold curl which never happens for me as my hair is so heavy! Knowing that they turn themselves off is a lifesaver as well for the daily fear that I've left them on! So easy to use coming from a hair novice would definitely recommend!

My new favourite straighteners!
I have been a fan of GHD for years and these new straighteners do not disappoint! I love how smooth they glide through my hair and how quickly they work! I've always found curling quite difficult on my hair but these also make curling so much easier! I use alongside the GHD heat protecting spray and this is the perfect duo for fab hair!

I can finally curl my hair with straighteners!!
I was so excited to have my first ever pair of ghd straighteners and can't believe I can actually curl my hair with straighteners with these. Slept on them last night and they look just as fresh this morning so really hoping this means they'll last much longer than when I have used curlers previously. The peace of mind knowing these switch off after 30 mins is a life saver

How did I cope without these?!
Having very straight hair has meant that I hadn't previously bought into GHD's. However, I have always used another brand of straighteners to curl my hair after being shown how to by my hairdresser a few years ago. My hair is now much longer and thicker than it used to be (thanks to Moroccanoil Repair range) , and after many a night out with my curls dropping within the first hour, I decided to upgrade to the GHD's. THE BEST DECISION. I didn't think there could be such a difference in the results just by upgrading my tool, but my curls now last for DAYS. The GHD Originals are so easy to use, very lightweight, and I love how they automatically turn off after 30 mins, meaning I never have to worry if I've left them on when I'm out. I use the GHD heat protection spray, and my hair never feels damaged after use. There's a reason they are the go-to straighteners.

Obsessed
I didn't really see what the difference was when I first saw the new and improved but having tried them, I can confirm they are definitely a lot better than the old original styler. Having had both, this one glides across my hair easier but feels like it grips the strands more to straighten/style them and gives a much glossier, smoother result. The beeping reminder that they're still plugged in is a lifesaver also!

Amazing
Love love love!! After having my originals for years I was so happy to upgrade, these really are worth every penny! My hair looks super sleek and shiny after styling! I am also very forgetful and often forget to turn things off (oops!) so the automatic sleep mode after 30 minutes is perfect for me. The cable is also longer which is a plus!! I can create so many styles with these, I've finally mastered curling my hair with them which creates a gorgeous look!!
