The straighteners are heated at 185°C for optimum styling, any higher would damage the hair while any lower would compromise the styling effects. Single zone technology ensures that the heat is evenly distributed across both ceramic plates to help effortlessly style your hair, promoting a sleek, professional-looking finish.
The floating plates offer an ultra-smooth appearance, while the round barrel helps for snag-free styling, creating bouncy curls, soft waves or poker straight ends with ease. Offering quick and easy hairstyling within 30 seconds, the tool is an essential, cult-classic in everyone's hair kit, perfect for everyday looks.
Ensure hair is dry and combed through. Divide the hair into sections ready for styling. Turn the appliance on. Place a section of hair between the straightening plates, close to the roots. Hold the hair firmly between the straightening plates and slide down the length of the hair, from root to tip. Repeat. Allow the hair to cool before combing through. After use, turn off and unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.

The best!
Absolutely love the new and improved ghd straightner! My hair looks so silky and smooth after using. They are so easy to use and can create so many styles. These are so lightweight too so great for travelling. The best straighteners out there :)

Better than I even imagined!
I was a little skeptical about this styler, and had never used straighteners to curl my hair before, but I think I'm officially converted! My curls came out SO well and so far have lasted over 3 days, which is much longer than usual. I'm truly in love - the only slight downside is that they don't come with a heatproof glove / case or mat, which would have been nice.

The Real OG Straightener!!
SO pleased with my new ghd originals, I have recently upgraded to ghd from using a cheaper alternative and I can honestly say it has made the world of difference! My hair feels less damaged and much smoother when styling. I love how versatile it is and it really is my go to tool. Whether it be bouncy curls or a straight slick look, this tool is the one I am reaching for every time! I also love the fact that it stays within 185 degrees for styling as I never realized the damage that heat above that could cause! A classic you can't deny is amazing!

The best straightener!
I've had my ghd Original styler for over 10 years and just coming to replace it now! The new version does not disappoint! All the best things about the first design but just tweaked and goes through my hair so smoothly! Love that it sets a consistent temperature as I would have no idea what is best for my hair! A great investment at such a good price. Highly recommend

I am so happy ghd have brought out a new and improved original straightener just in time for me to upgrade! I love the original as the rounded barrel is the best for curling my hair and I like to mix it up a lot! Also, my favourite new feature is the high gloss plates for the sleek and shiney smooth finish! Defo recommend :)
