The Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is a best-selling pre-shampoo treatment powered by scientifically-proven Olaplex Bond Building Technology™. Enriched with a host of revolutionary actives, the high-performance formula helps to hydrate and visibly smooth hair, promoting a stronger-looking and more resilient appearance.
With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. Simply comb the radiance-boosting Olaplex treatment through damp hair, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes, and then follow with your usual wash routine. The hair appears visibly nourished, exudes a glossy sheen, and feels luxuriously smooth.
- Application: Apply generously to damp hair from scalp to ends until hair is thoroughly saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes (or longer if desired). Rinse from hair. Cleanse with OLAPLEX Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

How to use Olaplex 3
Designed to be used once weekly, distribute the pre-shampoo treatment onto damp hair before washing and comb through for even root-to-tip saturation. Leave it on for a minimum of ten minutes and a maximum of 90, depending on how damaged your hair is. Rinse, then follow with Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Dry and style as usual with your favourite Olaplex products.
Can you leave Olaplex 3 on overnight?
It is not advised to leave Olaplex No.3 in the hair overnight, as the formula is intended to be rinsed out and followed by a shampoo cleanse. The brand suggests that just ten minutes is long enough to notice visible results.

So smooth…
So the downside for me is the bottle is too small! I have extremely long and mega thick hair so I had to use half the bottle in one go. I use it a bit like I would conditioner. After washing with shampoo I applied the product, left it for 10 mins and then rinsed off. Dried and straightened my hair. It felt beautifully light and smooth and made straightening very easy too. I love it but it’s just not cost effective for me due to how much I need for each application which is a shame. If it came in a big bottle and cost less, then it would definitely be my favourite.

I have never used this product or this brand before trying this. I have very long fine hair although starting to get dry and damaged through colouring my grey. So put it in the morning with wet hair and kept it in all day (don’t think you need to) and my god my hair has never felt so soft, but not fly away or static, just smooth and silky.
