The Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is a best-selling pre-shampoo treatment powered by scientifically-proven Olaplex Bond Building Technology™. Enriched with a host of revolutionary actives, the high-performance formula helps to hydrate and visibly smooth hair, promoting a stronger-looking and more resilient appearance.
With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. Simply comb the radiance-boosting Olaplex treatment through damp hair, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes, and then follow with your usual wash routine. The hair appears visibly nourished, exudes a glossy sheen, and feels luxuriously smooth.
- Application: Apply generously to damp hair from scalp to ends until hair is thoroughly saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes (or longer if desired). Rinse from hair. Cleanse with OLAPLEX Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

How to use Olaplex 3
Designed to be used once weekly, distribute the pre-shampoo treatment onto damp hair before washing and comb through for even root-to-tip saturation. Leave it on for a minimum of ten minutes and a maximum of 90, depending on how damaged your hair is. Rinse, then follow with Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Dry and style as usual with your favourite Olaplex products.
Can you leave Olaplex 3 on overnight?
It is not advised to leave Olaplex No.3 in the hair overnight, as the formula is intended to be rinsed out and followed by a shampoo cleanse. The brand suggests that just ten minutes is long enough to notice visible results.

Amazing!
I left no3 on for a few hours in the morning, and followed with the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and wow. My curls have not been this curly or healthy looking since I was at school. I saw a video of someone explaining this combination made their curls be redefined so I just had to try it. I have been struggling with my hair as I have naturally curly/wavy hair but it’s also thin and dry. This combination worked magic, I highly recommend!

So my hair is relatively thick and colour treated (blond highlights) and a few weeks ago some parts of my hair were feeling very brittle and damaged. I was keen to try olaplex because of the great reviews, so I purchased 0, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Have to say my hair is feeling so much better after 3/4 uses, the texture of the particularly damaged parts is feeling a lot smoother. Obviously having bought 0-6 I can’t narrow it down to one product... but initially I didn’t have 0 and even without it I did notice my hair was feeling better. Since adding 0 into the routine I have noticed the most change... think it works very well with 3.. my hair texture felt massively improved from its brittle and damaged state.

Love this for split ends however I noticed it made my roots more greasy. Not sure if I didn’t wash the product out properly but one to watch out for it you have naturally greasy hair.

Wonder product, with brilliant results.

After reading all the reviews I thought this would be the holy grail and answer to all my problems but it really wasn’t! If anything I think this has made my hair worse! I’ve used about 5 times left it on both for a couple of hours and overnight just to be sure but I really don’t think it works! Usually i blow dry and straighten my hair which lasts two days but with this I find myself having to straighten it more often. So not ideal at all

I decided to try this due to recommendation from my hairdresser & he had also used it on my hair in the salon. I followed the directions, in hope of luscious locks once dryed. Unfortunately, my hair became thin, straw like & greasy (I have thick long hair). I felt like I needed to wash it again.
