Winter is my favourite time of year. It means I have no choice other than to embrace my super fair skin and switch up my make-up bag. I love to play with dark berry lips and classic smokey eyes, which is what I have chosen to put together for you today.
After applying my base and sweeping a little of my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer on my cheeks, I used my HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette in 001 Bombshell to fill in and define my brows. I wouldn’t normally use the supplied brush, but in actual fact, the one that comes in this palette is really good. The shades in this palette are perfect for blondes like me and the pigment is beautiful. This powder will stay put all day long and really adheres to your brow hair for a natural look.
The great thing about this HD Brow palette is that you can also use it as an eyeshadow. Before applying any eyeshadow you must always use an eye primer, especially if you have oily eye lids like I do. The HD Brows Eye Primer has such a lovely silky smooth texture and glides straight onto the lids. I like to use the shade Sand as it neutralises any redness or uneven skin tones over the eye area. It is important to prep your eyes with a primer such as this if you want your eye shadow to stay put all night long.
Once I have primed my eyes I then apply the eyeshadow. I used the centre shade in my crease and blended this out, before added the darker shade to the outer corner of my eyes.
Next up is where the Lord and Berry Black Wardrobe Kit comes into play. The black eyeliner is great for lining the inner waterline, ensuring I get into all the nooks and crannies so that there are no gaps. Eyeliner done, apply a couple of coats of mascara.
To finish off this look I used the Lord and Berry Lip Crayon in Diva. This is such a gorgeous dark, purple shade that really makes my eyes pop against my fair skin. Lip crayons are really easy to work with and are great to throw in your hand bag. This set is perfect for the cooler seasons.
