Inspired by the hair's natural lipid shield, the Philip Kingsley Bond Builder Lipid Shield Oil creates a hydrating veil around each strand to help replenish lost moisture.
The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula is enriched with biometric ingredients and oils to nourish and protect the hair. Designed to be used weekly as a post-shower treatment, the formula seeks to minimise the appearance of damage and dryness.
- When to Use: After washing your hair.
- Recommended Amount: Shake well before use. Gently tilt the bottle and tap the base to dispense 5-6 drops into the palm of your hand. Short, fine, or unprocessed hair may require fewer drops. Long, coarse, or heavily processed hair may require more.
- Application: Apply to mid-lengths and ends of towel-dried hair. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed. Use every 2-3 washes. Very dry or damaged hair can use more frequently.
- Routine: If ends feel particularly dry, 1-2 drops can be smoothed through hair after styling. Can also be applied to dry hair and left overnight, then shampooed out in the morning. 1ml = approx. 20 drops. With 6 drops per use, the 30ml fill would allow up to 90 uses.

Fantastic product
This is truly great! Always a little dubious as to how good things will be in reality and firstly a little goes a long way! I have long, highlighted hair … I do look after it .. but do use a hairdryer on it .. It left my hair feeling soft, without being “fluffy” … not heavy and coated … didn’t feel greasy as some finishing conditioners do .. and I only needed 5/6 drops and so the bottle will last forever!

I was so excited to try this as I have bleached hair that can often feel dry for the first couple of weeks after it has been coloured. As my hair is only just past chin length I used 2/3 drops on the mid lengths and ends. Sadly after blow drying and straightening my hair was left feeling greasy yet flyaway and static which is a strange combination. Such a shame as I had high hopes. I’ll be sticking to my usual Kerastase oil in the future.

Unlike anything else I've used
This feels unlike anything else I've used before. It's a clear, scentless, light and thin oil, but even though I have very long hair I still needed to just use a couple of drops. It will make your hair look greasy if you use even a little bit too much. However, it really does make my hair feel stronger and softer. I don't have coloured hair but do use heat, and it's long so the ends are old and I try to protect them. This is so easy to use and really does last several washes. I use it just once a week. The tiny bottle is deceptive because you use so little.
