Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Super moisturising and rich - prefer as night moisturiser if using on face
Too rich to wear daily for me but great for before bed. The smell may be overpowering for some but I didn't mind it. Good option if you have dry/flaky skin (which I don't) but otherwise may be a bit much.

Good for dry skin
I have areas of eczema on my face during colder months and this has helped and not irritated. It is quite thick and greasy so you need to let it soak in and don’t use an oil before such as a vitamin c as it will stay greasy but it is perfect for very dry skin. Smells really nice and consistency is thick.

I was impressed at the power of this product. It’s great for any dry areas and even as a primer before makeup. As it’s so potent the formula does need a little longer to sink into skin/absorb. I use it at night so no issues. Just be mindful if you use it to give it extra time!
