Achieve a seamless complexion with the new generation Touche Éclat Blur Primer. Yves Saint Laurent’s light-infused, fluid primer helps to visibly even skin tone and minimises the appearance of fine lines, while creating a smooth surface that helps makeup last longer.
Transparent to allow optimal light diffusion and free from dulling opaque filters, the shimmer-flecked gel uses advanced blurring technology to create an instantly radiant and flawless canvas. Wear it under foundation or alone for an illuminated, mattified complexion.

- When to Use: Blur Primer can be applied under foundation to maximise radiance or worn alone to create a perfected canvas.
- Recommended Amount: Apply one pump on the back of the hand.
- Application: With a foundation brush or clean fingers, apply with gentle sweeping motions from the centre of the face outward. Leave to melt into skin for 10 seconds before applying foundation, if desired.

So this is a new purchase for me, I normally use an oil primer as I get super dry skin, especially whilst wearing a face of make up! But my go to brand often goes out of stock so I thought I’d try something new this time. This is a game changer for me!!! I’m so impressed! It really does have a ‘blur’ effect on the skin as soon as applied and leaves a subtle shimmer. Worn on it’s own it gives my skin a lovely glow and seems to last the whole day, and worn underneath make up it does a fantastic job keeping make up in place and I definitely noticed less creasing throughout the day. So happy I tried it, doubt I’ll ever turn back now!

Lovely primer but…..
I really love this primer. It glides on and skin feels like silk. The reason for the 3 stars it that there’s a good half inch in the bottom of the bottle that won’t budge! The pump won’t move it so I unscrewed the pump and tried to get it out, but it’s really difficult and when the ‘stick’ of the pump does pick some up the texture feels dry and make up doesn’t glide on as well. I’m reluctant to buy again in case same thing happens.

The most smoothing primer
I bought this on the back of using up a sample. It feels like silk! It smooths beautifully and blurs like a filter. I have large nose pores and this is a dream, especially for that area. I love to use this when I’m having a hormonal acne flare up. (Thank you peri menopause) I find that it doesn’t change the finish of whatever foundation I use on top, which is useful.
