Intertwining light and dark fougère facets, Y Eau de Parfum is an expression of sensuality, sophistication and strength, echoing the multifaceted personality of the YSL man. This fragrance opens with a burst of powerful freshness, emanating from bergamot, ginger and juicy green apple.
A heart of sage and juniper brings a masculine contrast to the elegance of geranium absolute and lavender, the two notes emblematic of the bold Y olfactive signature. In the base, a mysterious blend of sensual wood, frankincense and warm tonka bean creates a sensual warmth, intensified by smokey vetiver. Created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion, the Y fragrance is encased in a sleek, modern design, featuring an ombre hue that transitions from dark to light blue.
Apply fragrance to clean, dry skin. For added intensity, apply to your pulse points and / or hot spots (wrist, inner elbow and lower neck). Here, the heat of your body will allow the fragrance to reveal its full trail. Include shoulders and back to intensify your fragrance trail.

This is my everyday perfume it’s clean and fresh but many use these on dates and nights out which is great too so it’s a perfect all rounder and does keep smell between 4/6 hours and there after stays mild for couple days

Why so many 5 star reviews???
Even though I read tons of rave reviews about the YSL EDP, I couldn't resist the temptation and went ahead with the purchase. But, darn, it didn't live up to the hype. The scent is nice and fresh, but it's kinda basic and safe, not the unique vibe I was expecting. Honestly, you can find similar scents for way less money with those no-name brands. To top it off, this fancy perfum doesn't last long – maybe an hour or two – which just adds to my disappointment. I'm scratching my head wondering where all those glowing reviews came from because my experience doesn't match up. The only reason I'm throwing in two stars instead of one is because the bottle looks pretty cool. But other than that, I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this product.
