Our Foundation Finder understands the wide array of brands, foundations and shades we have available to shop onsite, and filters out any formulas that don’t match your foundation preferences, based on the answers you give in our Foundation Finder Quiz.Samples of each foundation shade have been obtained and measured using a spectrophotometer, which gives us information about the colour and gloss of each product under three different lighting conditions. This enables us to determine how close the shade matches are to your skin tone, as perceived by the human eye.
Using this technology, we’ve perfected our quiz to help shortlist your most accurate matches, with additional questions to help us narrow down your preferences even further: whether you opt for a dewy glow or a matte, shine-free complexion.

We stock a broad range of foundations onsite, and approximately 95% of them are built into our Foundation Finder to help you find your perfect match. What should I do?
If you’ve taken our Foundation Finder quiz but received our ‘no match’ message – don’t worry! You can retake the quiz and broaden your choices to help us find the best foundation for you. Top Tip: Prioritise your preferences in order of importance, e.g. foundation finish, so there’s a higher chance of us finding your most accurate or closest match. Choosing ‘no preference’ on the questions that aren’t as important to you will allow us to look for more matches.
