A festive look with the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

Pink eyeshadow has been one of our favourite trends of 2018 and it shows no signs of slowing down in the new year. Perfect for party season, the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette is made up of rosy hues for endless truly mesmerising eye looks.

We have teamed up with Urban Decay to create a festive look using the palette. Gorgeous for Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve or even Christmas Day itself, the versatile palette can create any look from a soft and subtle smoke to a dramatic, shimmering eye look.

A festive look with the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

1.

Begin by priming your lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion. Designed with polymer technology, the lightweight formula glides onto your eyelids, enhancing the colour pay off of any products you apply on top and extend their wear time.

2.

Next, taking a fluffy brush such as the Urban Decay E202 Large Fluffy Blending Blush apply the mauve-pink shade ‘Feelz’ all over your lid, taking the colour a little further than the brow bone, creating a rounded shape. Take the shade underneath your lower lash line to create a subtle, smokey effect.

3.

Deepen the outer corners of your lid to add definition and drama with ‘Bing’, a deep matte cranberry shade. Taking the tapered shading brush that comes with the palette, pack the rich shade in place and then softly blend the edges using the E202. Layer up to your desired intensity and apply a small amount on the outer corner of your lower lash line.

4.

With a flat shadow brush such as the Urban Decay E203 Large Eyeshadow Brush, apply ‘Bang Bang’, a shimmering hot pink with a gold shift, to the centre of your eye lid to create a halo-like effect. If you want to intensify your shimmer for a foiled finish, spritz your brush with a little setting spray before applying the shadow.

5.

Complete the look by applying a thin line of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in ‘Hustle’. Keep the liner as close to the lash line as possible to add depth and create the illusion of fuller lashes. Finish with a few coats of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and a spritz of Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
