Dermalogica are not ones to disappoint when it comes to launching new products. As one of the leading dermatological brands, a new product isn't released until it’s absolutely perfect, and their new PreCleanse Balm isn’t just perfect, it’s revolutionary.

For those who love the original PreCleanse Oil, don't worry it's not going anywhere. Some people however, just don't like the feeling of an oil on their skin, which is where the new Dermalogica PreCleanse Balm comes into play. With the same amazing formulation, the texture feels beautifully soft on the skin, and not oily at all. Instead, it leaves the skin perfectly cleansed, soft and smooth.

What is Double Cleansing?

You may have heard Caroline Hirons throw this term around one or two times, and for good reason. Double cleansing is the only surefire way of completely removing all makeup, dirt, oil and impurities from your skin.

It involves using an oil-based cleanser, which attracts all the oil sitting on your skin and breaks down all the makeup and dirt too. This means that when you go in for your second cleanse, it can actually deep cleanse your skin and make sure it stays glowing and healthy.

Healthier skin begins with step zero - Dermalogica

Why use the Dermalogica PreCleanse Balm?

The unique balm-to-oil formulation of the PreCleanse Balm dissolves all makeup, excess oil and pollution to leave you with a visibly fresher and clearer complexion.

Daily environmental aggressors and grime builds up on the skin, and without using proper products to remove it, it can result in breakouts, dullness and skin fatigue.

The PreCleanse Balm contains Apricot Kernel Oil to soothe the skin as it removes impurities, as well as a Natural Biolipid Complex, to help keep the skin well moisturised.

How to use the Dermalogica PreCleanse Balm

  1. Massage the balm into dry skin, using circular motions to really work the product in.
  2. Concentrate on areas of congestion, such as the chin, forehead and t-zone area. This will really help to clear out pore-blocking impurities and start the skin detox process.
  3. Add water to your hands and massage the product into your skin again.
  4. Rinse, and follow with your favourite Dermalogica Cleanser. We love the Special Cleansing Gel, which helps to remove toxins from the skin.
