Say No To Sunday Blues

Say No To Sunday Blues

It comes to Sunday and we all dread heading back to work the following day. For some, Sunday can be a countdown to Monday morning, which makes the day un-enjoyable. We have rounded up our favourite tips to combat those Sunday Blues and really make the most out of your weekend.

Top 5 Ways To Beat The Sunday Blues

There are lots of things you can do on Sunday to enjoy the day without worrying about heading back to work on Monday!

  1. Go For Brunch

There’s nothing that a huge stack of pancakes and a tall glass of orange juice can’t fix. Brunch is a great way to get out of the house, enjoy some delicious food and catch up with your friends or partner. Plus it means you don’t have to do the washing up!

If you’re in Manchester, head to Moose Coffee, which has a huge menu featuring American brunch foods, guaranteed to get you and your tummy happy. If you are in London, head to Pimlico Fresh, which has a wide range of smoothies and the most delicious Scrambled Egg and Goat’s Cheese on Sourdough!

  2. Have A Movie Marathon

If the weather isn’t great, put on your favourite (clean) pyjamas, some snuggly socks, and watch your favourite films. You can do this on your own with some of your favourite snacks, or invite your girlfriends round for a good catch-up at the same time.

Having a movie marathon is also a great time to catch up on pampering yourself. When snuggling down to watch a film, spritz the NEOM Organics De-Stress Home Mist onto your cushion and feel yourself fully relax.

  3. Do Some Exercise

Exercising is great way to release those happy hormones and make you feel more energised. If you like to exercise on your own, why not head for a walk if it’s a nice day? You can pack some healthy snacks and enjoy the fresh air. If the weather isn’t great, head to a yoga class, which is a great way to relax and banish those Sunday Blues.

If you want to do something with friends, head on a walk in the countryside close to a local pub, where you can grab some delicious food to build up your energy levels after exercising! Don’ forget to use Mio’s Workout Wonder range to soothe your aching muscles!

  4. Prepare Healthy Breakfasts For The Week Ahead

Getting organised can really make you feel a lot more relaxed. It helps to sort out your thoughts so you don’t feel stressed trying to juggle a million tasks. Preparing healthy breakfasts is a great way to start as it gives you that little bit of extra time in the morning to get ready.

You can freeze some prepare some fruit portions ahead of time and freeze them so you can pop in a blender in the morning and your smoothie will be super cold! We have some great recipes on the blog.

  5. Have A Bath

This is a classic, but there’s no better way to end your day than with a warm bath filled with a glug of Mio’s Liquid Yoga. It really helps to de-stress you and leaves your body feeling soothed and relaxed. A bath is a brilliant way to help send you off to sleep too as its warm temperature relieves anxiety and worries.

To help you drift off to sleep further, spritz the Mio Liquid Yoga Space Spray onto your pillow. It has the same divine scent as the Liquid Yoga Bath Soak and helps relax you and calm any nerves.
