Hi, I’m Hannah and I blog over at www.palindromepoppet.com. I’m sharing my top 5 products as part of the Blogger of the Week Feature and hope you find something new to try! Picking my current top five products isn’t too hard at the moment, as I’m mad on hair products. If it makes my hair soft and glossy, I want it. Here’s my rundown of my top 5 products at the moment:
Having long and thick hair can be such a pain sometimes. Whilst I am greatfull for having fast growing locks, detangling them can be a bit like trying to wrestle with a holly bush. KMS California Silk Sheen serum is amazing for smoothing the hair cuticle, stopping frizz and making detangling a walk in the park. Not only does it make my hair shiny and smooth after drying it, but it smells amazing too!
I’m a sucker for a neutral lid, and Benefit’s Longwear shadow in Call My Bluff is the perfect shade. Call My Bluff is a beautiful pale shell colour which just evens out the lid tone and sets a great base for any shimmer or darker contour shade. The shadow is so soft and blends beautifully with any other shadow I decide to team it with.
Whilst I’ve been loving ‘Call My Bluff’ I’ve also been applying ‘My Two Cents’ as a base which adds great depth to ‘Call My Bluff’. The creaseless shadows are great though as they blend smoothly across the lid and sit in place all say without smudging or creasing. The consistency is so silky that applying them is a dream, and adding other shadows is a match-made in heaven!
I have a problem. I always buy way too many nail polishes, and then am often left with beautiful shades that chip easily. I first discovered the Orly Glosser topcoat a few months back and since have been reaching for it automatically. It makes all nail polishes stay put until you’re ready to remove and adds a great glossy sheen to my nails.
As I mentioned before, anything that makes my hair silky soft is a godsend. I flippin’ love this Goldwell leave in conditioner, and used it everyday when I was on holiday. It has a very subtle scent and adds softness to my hair without weighing it down or adding residue. If you’ve not tried Goldwell products I’d really recommend checking them out!
So that was my top 5 products from Lookfantastic at the moment. I hope you’ve found something you’d love to try! I’d love it if you checked out my blog and youtube on the links below, I’m always sharing my favourite products and creating looks with my favourite LookFantastic products.
