Blogger Of The Week #9

Hi everyone! I’m Alice and I run the nail art blog ‘One Nail to Rule Them All’. I’m going to show you how to do this rose design today; I promise you that it’s simpler than it looks

How To: Geometric Rose Design

You will need:

Step 1: Paint your nails with 2-3 coats of OPI – My Vampire is Buff

Step 2: Place striping tape on diagonally on your nails to form a triangle. If you do not have striping tape you can use normal tape

Step 3: Paint in between the tape using black nail varnish

Step 4: Wait about 10 seconds and peel off the tape

Step 5: Using a dotting tool or something equally as round, like a dried out ballpoint pen or a cut down toothpick, paint drops of the two different shades of pink.

Step 6: Using a cut down brush, or toothpick, paint small lines inside the circles using the opposite colour

Step 7: Using the same brush, or a toothpick, paint on the leaves

Step 8: Paint a coat of OPI Nail Envy Matte Top Coat to seal in your design, and you’re done!

I hope you enjoyed this design! I’d love to see your versions of it. You can tweet me @onenailtorule, or you can post on my Facebook page
