This gentle cleanser works to effectively remove makeup without drying out the skin. The Squalane Cleanser from The Ordinary is gentle enough for daily use unlike other makeup removers, as this effective emollient hydrates the skin and helps to protect the natural moisture barrier to prevent drying and tightness. The balm-like formula warms to a clear cleansing oil texture to provide a thorough cleanse, helping to remove makeup, oil and impurities.

Gentle Oil Cleanser
This is a great cleanser. The most gentle formula I have ever tried. If you like double cleansing this will be a great first step for you. Using this leaves my skin soft and glowy. However I do feel like I would benefit even more if I used an toner to go with it, as sometimes I feel like my skin could benefit with a deeper penetrative cleanse.

Not sure I'm a convert
I'd heard so much about it this brand so thoight would try the cleanser. Really like the consistency when melts to almost an oil and does the job of cleaning your face. I felt my skin a little drier though after using for a few days and needed to use a little more moisturiser as a result. Not sure would buy again.

I like a cleanser that foams but this one does not and therefore you feel like you have not put enough. I was worried it would make my face greasy since I have an oily skin and squalane is an oil. It is gentle on the skin and cleans but just feels a bit funny.

Feeling nice
This cleanser is very comfortable to use, doesn't drip away and has no smell at all (which is very good for me). It also feels very nice on my face skin, makes it soft and moisturized. It does not remove makeup as good as my DIY cleansing oil, but if you don't usually wear any heavy makeup, it should be fine.
