To celebrate pay day, we are taking a look at some of the hottest new beauty products that have launched this May so you can up your beauty game.

What's new for skincare?

GLAMGLOW Supertoner

For those who are fans of GLAMGLOW, you will love their new Supertoner, and for those new to the brand, this is a seriously good skincare product to try out first. We know their face masks are their bestsellers, but there's something about a glycolic acid toner which gets us excited. This one contains a six-acid blend (glycolic, lactic, mandelic, salicylic, tartaric and pyruvic), which sloughs away dead skin cells and leaves your complexion glowing. Plus, it's soap, silicone, paraben and sulphate-free.

Philosophy Renewed Hope Peeling Mousse Mask

New from Philosophy is their Renewed Hope Peeling Mousse Mask, designed to gently exfoliate and leave the skin glowing. It uses a combination of physical exfoliation (a light scrub) with a chemical, enzymatic complex that dissolves the "glue" that holds impurities together, thereby reducing clogged pores and breakouts. Plus, it also contains pineapple fruit extract, witch hazel and cornflower to soothe.

Uriage Thermal Micellar Water

Made especially for sensitive, the new Thermal Micellar Water from Uriage has been specially formulated with glycerin and minerals to gently cleanse the skin, lift away all makeup impurities and soothe irritation, all while keeping your skin beautifully hydrated. Fragrance-free, it melts away oil and dirt and leaves the complexion ready for your second balmy cleanse.

What's new for makeup?

Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face Highlighter

Glass skin is in, which means a host of glossy and glow-inducing makeup products to add to your collection. Our favourite product of the moment is Kevyn Aucoin's Glass Glow Face Highlighter, which can be mixed with moisturiser or applied alone for a dewy radiance unlike no other. The texture is somewhat interesting in that although it's a gloss, it doesn't feel sticky or heavy on the skin, instead gliding on the skin and allowing makeup to sit beautifully on top. We are predicting this to be the makeup product of summer 2019.

NYX Professional Makeup Hydrating Jelly Primer

How refreshing does this sound for the warmer months? The Hydrating Jelly Primer from NYX Professional Makeup has been specially created to nourish the skin and create a gorgeously dewy glow whilst still keeping your makeup firmly in place. Plus, the range also has a setting spray especially for sensitive skin types in need of some hydration.

Revlon Anti-Pollution Foundation

Anti-pollution skincare has become a huge trend in recent years, so it was only a matter of time before the technology made its way into cosmetics. Enter the new Anti-Pollution Foundation from Revlon. Not only does this base help shield against environmental aggressors and blue light, it also gives a flawless, photo-ready finish.

Illamasqua Nude Collection Unveiled Artistry Palette

How beautiful is this palette from Illamasqua? With 6 shimmering and 6 matte shades, this is a playful and modern take on the traditional nude colours. Because there's incredible depth to each colour, they work on all skin tones to help you create the nude look that's perfect for you. Plus, the pigment payoff is incredible.

What's new in haircare?

Pureology Hydrate Sheer Shampoo & Conditioner

Love the idea of a hydrating haircare regime but worried it will weigh your fine hair down? Enter the new Hydrate Sheer collection from Pureology. Made especially for fine hair, the lightweight shampoo and conditioner help to replenish lost moisture within the hair fibres to leave them beautifully nourished and hydrated. For those who don't know a lot about Pureology, they're a brilliant brand for colour-treated hair, as each product is infused with an AntiFade Complex that works to keep colour vibrant and healthy.

Aveda Heat Relief Thermal Protector and Conditioning Mist

Shield your hair against heat damage with the new Aveda Heat Relief Thermal Protector and Conditioning Mist. Made from 97% naturally-derived ingredients, the lightweight mist is enriched with organic sunflower and jojoba oils that work to nourish and soften sun-drenched strands. It also gives a gorgeously high-shine finish that leaves locks beautifully radiant.

Kérastase Nutritive Night Repair

Although this technically launched last month, we can't get enough of it so just had to mention it again. Rich in 5 essential vitamins for hair health and shine, the Kérastase Nutritive Night Repair is to be used overnight on the ends of your hair to replenish lost hydration and leave it feeling beautifully nourished. The fragrance is the star of the show however; Kérastase we're begging you to bottle this up and sell as a perfume. It also doesn't need to be rinsed out the next morning, so you can go straight from bed to office with ease.

Christophe Robin Detangling Gelée with Sea Minerals

If you love the Christophe Robin purifying scrubs and treatments, their newly launched Detangling Gelée with Sea Minerals is about to become an essential second step in your haircare routine. Blending sea minerals including Zinc, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium and Potassium, the refreshing gelée detangles your locks without weighing them down. The unique gel-textured product leaves your hair softened, hydrated and balanced.

What's new in bodycare?

Mio Skincare Heavenly Body Salt Scrub

Summer is well on its way, and with the spate of warmer weather means our skin becomes more exposed. To help achieve a gorgeously smooth, soft and glowing finish, exfoliate with the new Heavenly Body Salt Scrub from Mio. It's formulated with a blend of natural botanicals like bitter orange peel and coconut oil to soothe as it scrubs. Oh, and it really does smell heavenly.

Rituals Karma Sun Protection Spray

Alongside super smooth skin, it's important to also use sun protection to shield against accelerated ageing and damage. The new Rituals The Ritual of Karma Sun Protection Spray is formulated with SPF 50 and protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Milky in texture, it melts into the skin upon application, and contains a blend of organic white tea and Vitamin E to hydrate.

Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle

We don't always have a lot of time to spend moisturising our bodies in the morning, which is why we love Sanctuary Spa's new Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle. Locking hydration into the skin for up to 72 hours, it's the perfect way to keep the skin moisturised without costing you any precious time in the morning post-shower. Plus, it smells divine and leaves your skin beautifully scented all day long.
