Knowing what skincare products should be applied in the right order for your best complexion can be confusing. We sat down with Sarah Chapman to discuss what is the best cleansing routine to make sure you achieve your healthiest skin yet.
If anyone understands the perfect skincare routine, it’s Sarah. An expert facialist, she has worked with numerous celebrity clients and opened her own clinic in London; she knows how you should be applying your products!
What Is The Best Skincare Routine?
I am a true advocate of a four step daily routine, using quick and targeted complex formulas for maximum results with minimum effort – Sarah Chapman.
- Cleanse – The foundation of any skincare routine is cleansing. On a day-to-day basis your skin is exposed to dirt, air pollution and pore-clogging makeup, all of which can build up, leaving your skin compromised, dull and lacking luminosity. Cleansing thoroughly morning and evening with a good quality cleanser will immediately brighten your skin and allow your following skincare products to be more effective and result in happier, healthier skin. Try the Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse.
- Eyes – To aid with concerns around the eye area, I would then follow with a targeted eye cream. My Eye Recovery contains powerful anti-ageing actives to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles, whilst brightening before application of any make-up.
- Serums – I am also a huge advocate of product layering as it allows you complete control for the results you need. So, I would follow with a targeted serum such as Age Repair Concentrate with or without a Booster serum, depending on your skin’s needs at the time. Or you can try Stem Cell Collagen Activator with its 4 stem cells and 8 peptides for revolutionary skin regeneration.
- Elixirs and Creams – I would then seal in all the good work! In the morning use a protective day cream; Dynamic Defence Concentrate is fantastic for its concentrated levels of anti-aging vitamin A and our signature complex of skin brighteners that lighten uneven pigmentation that give your skin that final radiant glow. In the evening it of course has to be my Overnight Facial.
