It does moisturise well but the smell is not so pleasant (for me).
I tried this on dry hair and didn't see any great result (slightly less frizz, but nothing wow!). Then I applied it to towel-dried hair, allowed my hair to air dry for about an hour, blow-dried for 2-3 minutes and the result was much better. Unfortunately, the smell is not the most pleasant; it could be better, a little sweeter is how I'd put it. I could smell it a little the next morning. Not horrible, just expected more pleasant in the fragrance. There's no real hold, and it does say as much. It's great if you just want moisturised hair.
