Dermalogica Starter Kit - MediBac Clearing®

I have quite oily skin, and I heard that Dermalogica was great for spot prone skin, well now that I have actually used these medibac products I would say to anyone not to use them! These products contain salicylic acid and I have had the exact same reaction as the first review from Antonia. Mid morning after I first used the products my neck became so itchy it was unbearable and went bright red and very tight! As well as the unbearable itchiness my face was covered in tiny bumps about the size of a pin head and even when wearing foundation are still visible! In all fairness this product is meant to sooth tight, spotty skin for acne and it does the opposite! It causes inflammation! I would not recommend this to anyone!

Ive tried everything under the skin to clear up my problem teeenage skin. Dermalogica MediBac is such a blessing. Its gentle enough not to sting but is strong enough to do the job whilst not leaving your skin red and raw. This pack is perfect for a trial to see how it works, I was so impressed I am deffinantly going to upgrade to the full size products now. Id deffinantly reccomend these.

I have been unfortunate enough to have suffered from spots through my teenage years with a break for a couple of years and then returning with adult acne in my 20's.I have tried every product out there from supermarket stocked brands to the expensive "premium" brands with very little success.I have never been that sold on Dermalogica but thought that I’d give it a go. The honest truth... after using this kit for two days it really has cleared my breakout!!! Healing spots are nearly completely gone and I (touch wood) haven’t had any new ones form. All those irritating little bumps that never turn into an actual spot have vanished and that’s all in two days! (FYI the products in this pack are very small, I was rather shocked at how small when it arrived).However, I do not count myself as having sensitive or "fussy" skin, (it more comes into the oily, congested, breaks out at the slightest excuse category), but I seem to be reacting to something in this range. I am not sure exactly which product it is but have narrowed it down to either the Overnight Clearing Gel or the Special Clearing Booster (which isn’t part of the kit, I bought it separately). My skin is tight, inflamed, itchy (especially around the jaw line) and covered in tiny bumps (about the size of a pin head but hundreds of them). It is extremely uncomfortable all the time and feels very hot generally and to the touch. I am going to stop using both the aforementioned products and see if it makes any difference but it’s not ideal when you are using the range to try and get no make up skin!! So just be warned that this stuff may be slightly too strong!!
