Kate Middleton Rosehip Oil

Radiant Skin with Rosehip!

Rosehip Oil has gained cult status since celebrities such as Miranda Kerr and David Gandy have sung its praises. The Duchess of Cambridge even credits the oil for her radiant and luminous complexion after discovering Rosehip Oil by Trilogy in New Zealand. Known as a miracle worker in the beauty industry, Rosehip Oil is of of the most natural and hydrating beauty oils on the market. It can be used as a moisturiser after cleansing, as a serum to deeply hydrate your skin, and as an anti-ageing treatment to combat fine lines, wrinkles and damage associated with dryness. The oil also helps to reduce the appearance of scars and improve the overall clarity of your skin tone; giving you a radiant and glowing complexion!

Sourced from specially selected roses, Rosehip Oil is a luxurious treat for the skin.  Though Rosehip Oil is considered to be a ‘dry oil’, it is extremely hydrating and absorbs straight into the skin; giving you luminosity without leaving an oily residue behind. It is full of natural Essential Fatty Acids, and Vitamins C and E, which work together to nourish your skin quickly and provide immediate protection against environmental aggressors.  The product also carries Provitamin A which regenerates and rejuvenates the components of skin cells to keep them healthy; helping to improve the overall complexion. It is also enriched with Omegas 3, 6 and 9, which all help to balance the skin, and help conditions such as eczema, acne and sun damage; healing your skin from the outside in.

One of the main benefits of using Rosehip oil lies in its anti-ageing properties. The oil is full of antioxidants which restore skin health, whilst also working against free radicals to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  It has the ability to penetrate through the skin to the deepest layers to stimulate collagen production to keep your skin plump and healthy. While this means that Rosehip Oil is great for mature skin, starting early can ensure that your skin stays healthy from a younger age. As the oil is lightweight, it will not clog pores, making it suitable for all skin tones and ages.

Rosehip also works amazingly well to reduce the appearance of scars due to its high content of Vitamin A and Fatty Acids which help to rejuvenate and heal the skin.  The Fatty Acids act as moisturising agents which not only help to hydrate but also allow improved permeability for the other ingredients present in the oil to be absorbed.  These acids help to form structures known as ceramides, which form a barrier on the skins surface to protect it against moisture loss and work to reduce redness and swelling; leaving skin soft, supple and even.

How to use the Oil:

Apply a small amount of rosehip oil onto your palm of your hands, then using your fingertips lightly tap on to your skin and gently massage – the warmth from your fingertips will help the oil to absorb into your skin. Make sure to use under the eyes, forehead and cheeks, or any areas that suffer from dry patches or dehydration.  Trilogy Rosehip Oilcan be used twice a day in the morning and night.

For best results, use alongside your favourite Trilogy Moisturisers which you can find here!
