Gone are the days where you wake up with lifeless, troublesome or out of control hair. These easy to use Sleep in Rollers give the term “bedhead” a brand new meaning! Forget sleeping in pin curls, doing your shopping in your rollers or waking up an hour earlier to wash, blow and style your hair before work, because now we can all achieve our desired look whilst we sleep. Easy peasy.
I have been trialing these out over the past few weeks so here is my Sleep in Rollers review.
Using Sleep in Rollers
The Sleep in Rollers have been really cleverly designed, with a sponge like material inside the rollers. It means that they are really comfortable to sleep in so you just have to wake up looking fabulous.
I have found that endless styles can be achieved, just by varying the technique. By applying the rollers in different ways, I can achieve anything from the highly volumised look (ideal for drinks with the girls) to a low flowing curl effect (perhaps more appropriate for a day at the office).
I have tried using them in a number of different ways and I have found that for best results hair should be dried off completely to avoid any kinks or frizziness in the morning. For a smoother finish I also used ghd’s to straighten each strand of hair as I put each roller in- not only does this give a frizz free salon finish, the heat also acts as an accelerator to give my hair that extra ‘umph’!
I found that for a volumised root boost I needed to hold strands vertically when applying the roller and apply tightly to the root. I really love the volume these give but for even bigger hair I like to apply TIGI’s Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost mousse to roots first and then apply a spritz of Catwalk Your Highness Firm Hold Hairspray once all the rollers are in.
I really love these for heat free, fuss free styling! Glamour without the hassle.
