Always burn your candle until the whole surface becomes liquid. This step may take a long time, especially during the first burning. When the entire top of the wax is liquid, do not burn it longer than one hour. The top layer of liquid wax should never exceed one centimetre in height. Never burn your candle more than the maximum burning time indicated in the candle’s instructions. Never burn it down totally and systematically leave one centimetre at the bottom.

Beautiful presentation but not a great smell
3stars are purely for the hand blown glass that this candle is in but unfortunately the fragrance is not great. It’s quite a strong medicinal smell. You would think that it would have a bit of a spicy floral smell due to its notes of ginger and black rose but for me was just like a cheap overpowering air freshener. I’m really disappointed as its high price suggested that it would be something special. So unfortunately I’ve returned this at a cost, so beware, don’t buy it without smelling it first.
