Not everything is shining

X-mas time for me means more for the atmosthere than just a holiday. Almost all the products in this box are great and really usefull (exept comb, it is my 2nd one, and it still JUST A COMB), even a Bourjois, that i can find in the nearest drug store.. But no feeling of Chirstmas, unfortunately...

Not Just Look Fantastic...Feel Fantastic!

The Look Fantastic Beauty Box The product I purchased was great...it's a surprise for my daughters at Christmas, a stocking filler. It has full sized products, from various ranges, offering the opportunity to experience them, before investing in more of the products. And such great value at such an affordable price...it's just fabulous!!! I can't wait to see their faces, being young women themselves, and with so many products on the market, this gift box offers such a variety, from hair care to skin care, they will just love it!! The cost per item, if I had purchased them individually, would have been so much more... So pleased, would recommend this to everyone! All these great products, at such an affordable price....what's not to love!

A reasonable first box, maybe not that good for Christmas

I should begin saying this has been my first box, I will likely purchase more. However, I was expecting something a little bit different, maybe more special, for the last box of the year: the Christmas one. There was no theme at all.The packaging and box are excellent and lovely though, and I will keep the latter. Onto the products themselves: overall, they seem like good value. I loved the cleanser, papaya peel and oil - although this last one is not entirely suitable for my skin type, I will probably give it some use. The clear lip gloss was nice too, since the size of this sample is quite reasonable. On the other hand, and as many other reviewers have previously pointed out, the collagen drink was absolutely pointless and disappointing, and I wish I wont have to find one of these in my boxes again. The comb was a nice touch, but of little use to me. And finally, the Bourjois eyeshadow trio: Even if I don't particularly like this brand (the quality of their products is very uneven, in my opinion) I own a couple of Bourjois eyeshadows that I'm very fond of and use almost daily. However, this is not the case. This trio is barely pigmented and therefore hard to apply. I will try to give it some use, but I don't love it. It's a full size product, which is good.

I have sampled several beauty boxes and this is a firm favourite. I love it every month, I preorder every month as I know how quick they sell out. Would defo recommend

Received the box ,it had 6 items that I have tried and very pleased with ,including a collagen drink wich was quite pleasing to the palate ,also included some youth oil which I have been using each night that smelled really nice ,altogether really happy with the items they sent .

After receiving November's box and being really happy with it, I found December's Box very disappointing. The brands received were very cheap, and not of the best quality. For example Tresemme hair and scalp treatment, Lookfantastic don't even sell this supermarket brand! The Boujois eyeshadow set, again, nothing special. I would expect to receive samples of products that Lookfantastic sell themselves.

December Box

I must say that this box has the most exciting products. This month is no exception. For £15 you get six (in this case 7) great products that you wouldn’t get in say a magazine now or have done previously. The products in the December box range from: Pure Gold Collagen Drink. A food supplement that is said to improve the quality of the skin. Bourjois green eye shadow which is bold on any occasion but would be ideal for the Christmas season and would compliment brown eyes (but would probably suit any eye colour) which is perfect for me. Lord & Berry Polish Eye Pencil in Mirror Black. This is perfect for a smoky eye look or simply used in the water line and tight line to create a smouldering look! Macadamia Healing Oil Infused Comb. This comb is interesting, as it just looks like a normal comb, yet it is infused with Macadamia Healing Oil. I tried this and it made my hair look shiny and silky, however I wasn’t aware of any oil. No oiliness means nicer looking hair. Murad Essential-C Cleanser 45ml. It’s always nice to try a new cleanser and this one is no exception. It has a lovely fruity smell. I have always wanted to try a Murad product and thanks to Look Fantastic I have a chance to. Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel 15ml, I haven’t really used a peel for a long time, so it’ll be good to try and I look forward to see the results. Ole Henriksen’s Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil 15ml. I have heard rave reviews about this brand, particularly about the wipes. This is a spray that not only freshens the face but also hydrates the skin. All in all I am really pleased with this month’s box and the products. It is definitely worth getting at £15, because the products exceed the price. And you don’t have to commit to monthly payments. This box is also great to give as a gift. I also love the packaging, it is very classy and presented well. Very sexy.
