Lenghthens lashes

Don't expect killer volume or miracles, it's just some ink on a brush after all. It's not clumpy and separates the lashes well, if you prefer volume over length the Bad Gal Bang is meant to be better for that, this one lengthens. I have the brown version too which is perfect for creating a natural look.

I have always used Benefits Roller Lash Mascara which is great, I thought I would give this one a try to see if I could get more length and Volume. Biggest waste of money, the brush is huge so it is impossible to use and spikes out at the end so you stab yourself in the eye. Its a really wet formula and goes everywhere. I don't have the longest lashes but this did nothing for me, Roller Lash is so much better.

Best mascara in the universe

I was using Benefit cosmetics (bought in San Francisco)long before it arrived in the UK. There is nothing to best the 'They're Real mascara' - nothing! 2 coats and your lashes are long long long. I use a (white) mascara primer first and curl my lashes before applying. It comes in Black, Blue and Brown but NOT green. I've written to HQ several times without any response - I have green eyes and want dark green mascara. The only one on the market is YSL but it is so gloopy it just clumps my lashes and doesn't add length. Trying to add an extra coat of the YSL after a coat of 'Real' doesn't work either - just clumps. I use the Benefit brown lash primer alone on my lower lashes -great as the brush is short and narrow - perfect for the lower lashes that isn't heavy.

Oh no! I have used this mascara before and always been delighted with it, however this time I was severely disappointed. It was glucky. It was lumpy. And that was just the wand. When I applied it, it made my lashes clump together into one big blob. I love benefit makeup.and am hoping this was just a dud.

I brought this as a travel size and I've just placed an order for the full size it's a little pricey but I do like this mascara, it's lengthens and gives you definition but it doesn't give you any thickness more of a lengthening mascara! For some reason I feel like this mascara adds a smokey effect to my eye look that no other mascara has ever done, so will continue to repurchase. Best price on look fantastic.

Sadly, it is not as good as I was hoping it would be. My lashes are not very long or thick. All it does is make them longer, but maybelline does it way better for a fraction of the price. I've had too many misses with high-end mascaras- Benefit being in the cheaper range. I will stick to Maybelline.

After hearing lots of great reviews and being recommended this mascara many times, I finally took the plunge and tried it. The colour was fab and it definitely made my lashes look longer however the consistency is a little gloopy and if your not careful with the amount that's on the wand you'll have clumpy stuck together lashes.
