Light but buildable coverage
5The normal double wear foundation I find just too heavy on my skin. The double wear light is perfect for everyday. It is sheer but it has a good coverage and you can build it up in areas where more coverage is needed. It feels light as silk on the skin and it’s breathable. Recommended.

Not as good coverage as double wear light
3I bought this instead of the double wear light, it was a nice colour but the coverage was poor and it didn’t last as long

Great shade but not good for oily skin
3Product applies easily and melts into my skin. However, it doesn’t work well with my oily skin.

Change of product
4The old foundation that I used to use for discontinued and I’m not the biggest make up user, however I was told this was the best foundation to move over too and I have no complains, works well on my skin

Good but needs work
4Like many other people, I was disappointed a few months ago to realise that Estée Lauder had withdrawn their Double Wear Light make-up. I immediately found that the Double Wear Sheer was too runny and with less coverage than I wanted. However, I have found the answer to my problem. I used to wear standard Double Wear and had always wished that the Light version was supplied in the same shades. So, now that Double Wear Sheer has the same colour range as Double Wear itself, I mix them in a ratio of about two thirds Sheer to one third standard Double Wear, both in the same colour, of course - 2C2 Almond for me. Job done and I’m a happy bunny!

Awful
1Service from Look Fantastic was great. But this product is awful! I was a loyal user of the original double wear light. They re formulated and I found the replacement disappointing. This one however is even worse. Waste of money on this one. Makes my eyes burn, little to no coverage, greasy, settles in lines.

Not as good as double wear light
2Estée Lauder has really let us down on this one. It transfers horribly if you touch your face, if your face touches your jacket or when your little niece gives you a massive squish and it gets all over her glasses! It blends well and the colour is the good but the transferability really lets it down for me. Won’t be buying again.
