Manage your expectations.. nothing like the box for darker hair.
Bought this dye as, unlike many other box dyes, it promised a bright colour even on darker hair. (Without bleaching first). I used the dye on previously coloured, medium- dark brown hair that had an auburn tinge, so wasn't expecting it to be exactly like the box, but at least fairly close. Well, my roots (that were my natural hair,a mid brown with no red tones) went a fairly dark coppery colour. And then mids and ends didn't change at all. Not even an orangey hue. They stayed the exact same colour. I'm a seasoned box dyer, so followed all the instructions correctly and left the dye on for the right amount of time. The dye itself leaves your hair feeling soft after washing and doesn't smell too bad when applying. Hence the 2 stars. Just really disappointed with the outcome, if you have medium or darker brown hair, expect a result much darker than the box. The outcome may also be different if you use it on virgin hair. Personally wouldn't bother buying again!
