LOVE!! The Best Straighteners...
5I got these after my sister had been using her's for a couple of years and I am so glad I upgraded! They really are a huge step up from the standard ghds. They have a great rounded edge so make the most amazing curls and for the first time my curls now actually last 2-3 days! I've personally not experienced the faults the other people have but my friend did and she contacted ghd and they sorted it out straightaway for free. Electricals are always going to be susceptible to faults but at least ghd resolve it directly and quickly and not like Apple who have the cheek to charge with the slightest fault on their products!! I will forever recommend these straighteners!!

Outstanding
5Bought these are part of my daughter Xmas. I personally went off ghd and started to use another brand. These are amazing though I think I’d convert bk. she’s loves them i love them no issues at all.

Well worth their reputation !
5I bought these straighteners for my daughter who has long and thick highlighted hair and she loves them because they glide through her hair easily, smooth it perfectly and protect it from damage by only heating to the correct temperature needed !

Keeps on breaking
1Good straighteners but breaks easily. My 1st GHD+ only lasted for less than two years and got replaced as it was still under warranty. The replacement also broke and I purchased another one, which also broke after 3 years.

Keep breaking
3I have already sent these back once and the have just cut out again the red light comes on them and can’t be used stick to originals I have had to go back to them till ghd sort it out again

Ref fault light
3Same experience as reviewer Holly. Red fault light has come on and gives off a constant beep. Checked my purchase history and have had them for nearly 7 years so out of warranty but my earlier basic model ones were still going after 10 so had assumed upgrading was a good idea. Will be dusting off my old ones before spending more money to replace.

Love GHD but disappointed
2Brought the GHD platinum Plus around 2 years ago. The best hair straighteners I’ve ever used. 2 years down the line a fault has come up on the hair straighteners, a red flashing light which is a safety alert to stop the GHDs heating up and burning your hair( meaning the GHDs won’t heat up). I then got in contact with a company in which fix GHDs and was told the above. GHD is supposed to be a reliable company, professionals and top hair dressers use their products E.g; straighteners, hair dryers daily. It’s very disappointing. If your thinking of purchasing these hair straighteners, I wouldn’t. I would look at other models from GHD. Absolutely love the brand but this is very disappointing. You can search up GHD platinum plus fault and there’s lots on information on this. Something I didn’t realise or knew before purchase. Hope this helps anyone looking to purchase the GHD platinum plus. (This is a true fault, please search this before purchasing)
