Saving my skin!

As an acne sufferer this product is helping my skin tremdously. The AHA& BHA in this product are keeping my breakouts at bay keeping my skin looking fresh. I suffer from cystic acne but also have dry and dehydrated skin - especially in the winter. I use this once ever two weeks and can definitley see a difference, try this product if you haven't already!

This product has saved my skin. This is my 3rd purchase and i couldn't be happier. I suffer from cystic acne which used to make me very conscious, since using the product my skin has improved incredibly, i use this once a week along side the murad cleaser have definetly seen a difference in my skin.

A wonderful cleanser for blemished skin.

Skin Type: Combination/Sensitive Main Concerns: acne (mostly hormonal), scarring, uneven skin tone. I really love this product! I’m familiar enough with AHAs/BHAs that I felt confident using this product. I bought it so that it would target my scarring and uneven skin tone, and after an initial purge/breakout it has made a real difference to my skins overall appearance. It recommends you use it AM and PM, although I found it works better for me as part of my morning routine only as I don’t want to overwork my skin. I prefer gentle cleansers in the evening. I use it in the shower, I like to apply a small amount in my face and leave it to work for a few minutes while I get on with shampooing etc. I think it’s important to leave the product on for a while so it can get to work, instead of immediately washing it away. The consistency/texture of the product surprised me, it’s gritty/coarse where I had expected a gel. The texture is finely milled, no large chunks of product stuck together. I’m sure it acts as a physical exfoliant as well as a chemical exfoliant. I’ve stopped using an actual “face scrub” for now while I’m using this. If you were wanting to use this on the rest of your body (arms, thighs - maybe to target Keratosis Pilaris) you would probably see more benefit from a designated scrub. I don’t notice a heavy smell or added fragrance, which I really appreciate. I’ve previously bought the Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser, but have found that the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser seems to work better at preventing breakouts and clearing up scarring. I will be repurchasing this again! A bottle like this usually lasts around 2.5 to 3 months, I feel it’s good value for money! If you’re using actives (acids, retinol etc) on your skin please also remember to wear suncream daily to protect yourself.
