Delicately handmade purely from moisture-rich Konjac plant fibres and Volcanic Water, the compacted sponge is perfectly sized for newborns or premature babies and offers extra gentle cleaning. Konjac is a natural wonder – it’s been used in Southern Asia for over 1,500 years as a medicinal and beauty treatment, and it is alkaline based thus balances any acidity in skin and restores optimum pH levels.

Use - Before use, rinse and hydrate your Konjac Sponge in warm water. Squeeze out any excess water, and gently cleanse skin. It is not necessary to use cleansing products, but a small amount can be added if desired. If a cleanser is added, the sponge will help the product work harder, and go further.
Care - After use, always rinse your sponge well, and allow to dry in an airy place between uses. Please be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibres, just squeeze between your flattened hands. When dried it will shrink and harden, this is perfectly natural. Simply allow it to absorb water and rehydrate before using again. Never use the sponge when dry. Never leave the sponge in the shower or in a pool of water. Your Konjac Sponge is a 100% natural vegetable product and should last 2 to 3 months. Once it starts to look tired and/or breaks down, replace it. Konjac Sponges can be safely composted or used in the garden to help water your plants by holding moisture.

Perfect sponge
This baby sponge is the best thing I have ever used for cleansing and washing my face. I am 60+ with VERY sensitive skin and even muslin cloths are too abrasive for me. This natural sponge is so soft, making it perfect to use and so easy to clean. Only wish I had found this sponge earlier and I now wouldn't use anything else. The added bonus is I will never have to use and throw away cotton pads ever again which is excellent.
