Very dark flat blue-green tone

Bought this to re-blend an old brunette balayage whilst salons are closed without having to commit to a 24+ wash semi-perm colour.  Left on for the specified time without adding any heat or wrapping. Colour is far far darker than “light brown” it’s very dark brown and with a strong green-blue tone.  The green-blue tone comes through in all lights and has really clung on to any lighter sections making it overall look very steely, flat and dull - with a definite green reflect!  Have used a high SLS shampoo and left on for 30mins wrapped with heat for three days in a row to remove as fast as possible!

Don’t buy!!!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! I was recommended this hair dye by a hairdresser! However it turned my hair BLUE!!!!!! I saw reviews saying that it had turned people’s hair blue or green, I thought it wouldn’t happen to me. How I was wrong:((

I wish I had read these reviews! I have grown out balayage and wanted to dye my hair light brown to match my roots and my hair has now gone blue/black and dry!

Good but not perfect

Okay hard one, I am 100 percent white/salt and pepper shoulder length hair. Cannot use dyes so recommended this. Longing to be my old colour again. Left this on for 20 mins after patch test fine. It covered my white hair but top is ginger blonde going darker at the bottom which is more a brown. Need darker as looks wishy washy but no more white hair. Who knows how will look after few washes though

Hair turned dark green at the ends.

I used the Wella Colour Fresh 5/07 last night to colour my hair to a natural brown and unfortunately it turned my hair dark green. My hair is naturally brown but I had it highlighted a lot due to having a lot of grey which needed blending in. I fancied going back to my natural colour but only wanted to risk it with a wash in, wash out type product which this is advertised to be (fingers crossed). I read the reviews about other people’s hair turning green if it was highlighted but because this was close to my natural colour, I genuinely thought that it would be ok. I was wrong. I’m not sure quite how to fix it yet although I’m tempted to just try and rock it and hopefully it will fade out in 10 washes like the bottle says. If not, then alternative solutions will need to be tried. I could be really mad about it but I took the risk even after reading the reviews, so I am partly to blame. I also think there is more science to picking a toner than I first thought. Here’s hoping it comes out naturally.

This is quick and easy to use and blend roots. I’m quite grey and it does blend the roots but it is more of a gloss (what I wanted) so only lasts around a week.I don’t think you are supposed to, but I’ve been using the same bottle afew weeks running and seems fine!

Nowhere close to the image. Used colour on blonde hair and expected to be a brown/light brunette but instead my hair is a washed out dark blue..should be taken out of the market. Very dissapointed in Wella
